If you take too long on a goal kick the referee stops the game and yellow cards the keeper.
-
There was never over 7 minutes of added time in that game, man
-
35 seconds for a goal kick in extra time is normal, stuff like that happens every game and time isn't added on. Same with kicking the ball away.
-
3 minutes 33 seconds Games would be lasting 4 hours using those stunning calculations.
-
Absolutely ridiculous. Literally just cheating They’ll say we were time wasting (which we were) but nowt happened within those 5 minutes to add any extra on.

I’m sure Howe knows what he’s doing like -
They’ll not be working past 5-6 anyway.
-
Structure’s more important off the ball than it is on it, when on the ball it’s more about patterns of play, although obviously you cannot just do whatever or you’ll get fucked on the break. Defensively he would occupy one of the wide spots but when we’re in possession he would have freedom to be wherever he’s going to be most dangerous. Not saying that is how Edward will set us up but it seems plausible when Wilson is fit.
-
Potter/Pep use periodisation don’t they? Saw something about Klopp getting stuck for not doing so, I dunno which approach Howe takes though.
-
All fit he’ll probably start wide but essentially be a striker.
-
I feel like it'll be Fernandez as he doesn't offer anything unless we have 3 central defenders out. Ritchie and Dummett for all their faults are 'utility' players, and as shite as Murphy is his pace is an asset late on (as we saw against Wolves).

Yeah I think it was more prevalent in the Wolves game. I cannot see him starting three CB’s and Targett though. -

Howe is married to his 4-3-3 Before the City game I though he might go 3 at the back in certain games but I cannot see it now. -
As in numbers. The quality obviously drops off after Bruno, Jo, and Shelvey but Willock and Longstaff are both Premiership quality midfielders, we then have Anderson coming through too. I just cannot see us bringing another midfielder in unless they're a massive step-up (or a loan to cover for Shelvey).
-
I mean the lad just said he didn't want Dendoncker and stated his reasons (a quick look on FBRef suggests he might be right) We've clearly stayed away from buying players just to fill squad positions, hence not pulling the trigger on multiple players this window who would seemingly improve us (Cornet/Sarr) etc. We're actually pretty stacked in centre mid so anyone brought in, you would assume, would either be a loan, or someone we see being in the first team for a long while. I haven't seen much of Dendoncker so I'm not sure like.
-
And we play 4-3-3 with two wide centre mids, Willock doesn't play behind the striker. It would usually be an honest mistake but we've played this way for over half a year now and you're giving it the big'un so...
-
You're being weirdly arrogant about something you have absolutely no clue about like Howe has already said he wants more names in, whether we get them is another story but it's hardly a forgone conclusion we don't make another big signing and it's fine to be hopeful. Young cover for RB would make sense too, and as Kev Lawson's tweet suggests there might actually be something in the links to the West Ham lad.

Surely the ref has to actually play advantage too for it to even be a factor? -

You cannot strike a ball like that with your shin, it would have hit just above the sweet spot on top of his ankle. -
Criticising Willock for not being arsed is a bit silly like, his main attributes to the team are his work rate and his ability to carry the ball at speed. He’s a bit like Murphy in that he’s better when he doesn’t have time to think though. I don’t think he’s suited to a game like that, where we dominate possession and are trying to break down a very good defensive unit, and his role going forwards should be from the bench until he improves his all round game imo (he’s only just turned 23, so although he’s getting on there’s definitely still time to tighten aspects of his game up).

Not sure it's been discussed but Neves seems a bit of a whoppa like "It's the Premier League, every game is like that. Their style of play is like that, just long balls and second balls. They're not a team that wants to have possession too much. "We knew that and we prepared really well for that. Then at the end, it's details. Maybe a detail when [Pedro] Neto almost broke his leg and the ref didn't run to the screen. "That's one detail, and another detail is we scored a second goal and the ref went to the screen. Another detail. A lot of meetings before the season starts, but then you see our player almost broke his leg on that tackle and the ref doesn't go to the screen. "We ask why we had so many meetings, because everyone saw on the TV. I already watched the images, and it's unbelievable. He almost broke his leg, his foot is on the floor and the tackle is on his shin. "Really, really dangerous, and they keep playing with 11 men until the end. That's one of the details that killed us at the end." -
Dean Henderson has been unbelievable so far for Forrest like, despite being the cringiest bloke I’ve ever seen on a football pitch. As solid as Pope is I think Henderson will overtake him for the England shirt if Pickford loses his place (which he probably shouldn’t given he’s never let us down yet).

The stats definitely don't tell the full story like We never did anything until Maxi decided to ping a full volley in for some reason. We were the better side and controlled the game fairly comfortably, but Wolves looked the more likely to score on the counter. Those 21 shots may as well have been 5. It was a pretty solid reminder that we need more in before the window shuts.
