  1. Seeing how much that goal and game meant to him really makes you want him to play a part this season like. Maxi needs to come back in but Murphy has earned his chance the past couple of games.
  2. He looked perfect for the RCM role in a pressing side (ie us). I hope he’s actually shite though and Howe (and our scouting team) knew it. It would really annoy me if he did well for West Ham
  3. I should be happy looking at the table but it just annoys the fuck out of me that we should be 3rd EDIT: Well 4th on GD
  4. Rice would just be another ball carrier who doesn’t do enough in the final 3rd. We either need a proper attacking mid or a deep lying playmaker.
  5. Including Eddie Howe?
  6. Aye especially for things like handballs on the byline, or tackles near the corner of the 18 yard box etc. I'm not really against changing the rules of the sport (so I would probably just keep things as the are) but I do think that aspect of the game (punishing acts of 'unfair play') would make a lot more sense if the whole penalty and red card system was changed.
  7. I would honestly be for just banning him from association football.
  8. It probably will eventually but it would have to start out abroad I’d imagine. I could definitely see a lass earning a name in the Scando leagues or summit. Throwing a lass straight into the England job would do more damage than good for women in sport
  9. I wouldn’t be against Weigman if the quality of football was even remotely comparable. There’s no reason why a woman couldn’t manage a Premiership club, or a men’s national side but we’re probably still a bit of time away from it.
  10. Aye, it's been frustrating watching him rarely touch the ball the last couple of games given his obvious quality on it.
  11. He wouldn't be getting shunted out wide to make room for Wilson though, he'd probably be better starting out there at the minute.
  12. Our corners are pretty varied tbh, we just never really pull anything off. In terms of whipping it in we just don't have many players who are actually good in the air despite having a fairly tall and physical side. Botman and Lascelles aside nobody looks capable of properly attacking the ball with any regularity from set-pieces. Lob it to Burn for a knockdown is probably our best bet from what we do, but I'd definitely like to see more near-post flick on's and hope someone can knock it in, I think Spurs have had a couple like that this season?
  13. Wood coming on earlier would allow Isak to drop deeper or wider which might have helped. I actually really like Miggy, but his role is to pin sides in which isn’t as necessary when they have little incentive to push out.
  14. I anycase the fact anyone can have actually watched us so far this season and be freaking out is beyond me. We’ve looked very good outside of yesterday and Brighton, we’ve had a very unlucky start to the season with VAR and injuries.
  15. Aye Murphy didn’t do too bad. Only really criticism I can think of given the options from the bench was that Wood came on too late.
  16. We beat Palace and Liverpool just never got the points.
  17. Think Herron and the rest deserve a bit of slack for whatever the do like They’ve put a ridiculous amount of effort in to make SJP one of the best grounds in the country again. EDIT: what rich said
  18. Oooo I do love a good ‘who hates England more’ off.
  19. Fucking hell Are VAR refs trying to outdo each other?
  20. He's a really unique player like, he's very erratic in everything he does but has the strength and balance to turn it (mostly) into a positive.
  21. Booing God Save The Queen immediately after her death is the same as booing a minutes silence like, it’s proper weird. EDIT: The same as booing a minute silence for the Queen I mean.
  22. Many people/places do hold the same view like, it's just that booing people who have died is cringey as fuck. You can sort of let Liverpool off with it because of Hillsbourgh though. And we definitely shouldn't be singing the national anthem at Anfield
