  1. Chelsea vs. Leicester is blue vs. a silver that's just as dark and a bit blueish. Struggling to follow it to be honest.
  2. Getting back to OGS' coaching, but I think the stats people have established that passes into the box are far more likely to lead to goals than shooting from outside the area. It is perhaps typical NUFC irony that the team best at passing into and around the box, Man City, beat us with a thunderbolt from 35 yards out. City seem to get one from a far post runner in all their other games.
  3. They've got some winnable games coming up, so I hope he wins them (our game aside), they knee jerk on it, and give him the job permanently. It will set them back even further.
  4. The shame of letting Danny Ings score twice. Shit defending all round, and I reckon Dubs would have had at least one of them. Leno left a massive gap at the front post for the first and simply watched the second go in. Here's hoping for the usual Arsenal second half.

    Kenedy

He's definitely not a wing back! Give him a freeish role up front in game where its not pissing down and Ki is playing tappy to feet and I reckon he'll be all right.
  6. Aye, that kit is lush. Morning here, now, but still buzzing. Dire first half, but we turned it around and it was a great result. Huddersfield's players look so poor that its hard to see any other manager making much of a difference. Fulham and Southampton have scope for improving through organization and tactics, but I don't think Huddersfield do.
  7. I don't know about laughing, but it would be nice to watch our games and relax. Most of the last two seasons have had me clutching a drink and snacking like a nervous gimp. (time difference means I watch most games at midnight)
  8. Three great points. Would've been easier but for bloody officials. 6 points and GD above the drop zone, so maybe they should have that Christmas party after all.
  9. They were bad enough for us to try to win in with ten men, so an especially annoying afternoon. We gifted them both their goals. West Ham tonked us, but they're a good team. This lot were crap. Three mistakes in five days from Lascelles, so he needs to wake up.
  10. Dunno if that was a red, but it was caused by our depleted back line being unable to play the ball out like Lejeune and Schar. Yedlin's at fault, but it was a situation where a mistake is likely to be costly and he shouldn't be getting the ball when covered.
  11. Not bad. Wolves' strength so far this season has been defensively, but we got right back into this after giving them an early Christmas gift. We need to crack on though because there are three points for the taking here. We just need better application.
  12. Great goal. Super unlucky freekick then a brilliant follow up. Game on!
  13. Up there with the worst goals we've conceded this season. Far too easy.
  14. Yeah, touche to him. What a brilliant example to hammer the point home with.
  15. Never. The crowing coming from the media would be absolutely insufferable. I reckon they'd make a bigger thing of it than Leicester winning.
  16. I reckon the only question is whether Murphy'll offer more from the bench than Atsu. Our best wide players are Kenedy, then Ritchie. Ritchie never beats his man, but can whip it in low on a plate and does occasionally appear at the far post.
  17. Yeah, some very clear yellows, and it could have been worse with a card-happy ref. I was expecting the lads to tire and space to open up but it didn't happen. Everton simply got more frustrated and impatient.
  18. Shut them down brilliantly second half, and could have won it with a decent connection from Atsu. Since I can't jinx it now, I'll say I think Marcus Silva flatters to deceive and that at least one of West Ham and Leicester will finish above Everton.
  19. Pretty good given the gulf in class in players. Scored from what was a howler letting that cross through to Rondon, but he took it really well. It took thirty minutes of very high possession for them to start creating clear opportunities. Looks a bit foreboding for the second half.
