  1. Or maybe people are fed up of your incessant whinging and negativity. I’d love to smash you across the face with the bigger picture, as apparently you’re incapable of seeing it.
  2. Go back to the match thread, I basically said exactly the same during the match that yes he lost the ball outside their box, but the rest of the team had multiple opportunities to prevent their goal. Then a load of the usual fucking suspects, who apparently just want to live in a state of perpetual anger and misery, started kicking off. this place can be every bit as bad as Grand Old Team and by fuck do we love a scapegoat. It’s seemingly all the better if they’re a local lad too.
  3. Well yes and no, Chelsea's new owners found that Abramovich had been paying people off the books as well as other financial irregularities, which is what saw Rangers effectively kicked back to the bottom of the Pyramid. And yet seemingly nothing has been done about this thus far 🤷🏻‍♂️
  4. Tell me you know nothing about burden of proof, without telling me you know nothing about burden of proof 🤦🏻‍♂️ Do you think the higher courts in the land require less stringent evidence?
  5. Yup, I also really want to know what the tat is he has covered up on his left arm too
  6. I’m sure Pope will be well up for a mid season swap of being Newcastle No1 to joining a relegation battle
  7. Correct but that’s also why I called people who think it’s that cut and dried are as clueless as our former lipless manager. Remember him blaming Adam Armstrong for having a shot, for us conceding away at Old Trafford. Players lose the ball on the edge of the opposition box all of the time, but it doesn’t lead to a goal if the rest of the team do their jobs. I say it again, Longstaff losing the ball 80 years from our goal wasn’t great, but there were multiple chances to avoid that goal. None of which Longstaff is directly responsible for.
  8. Of course it was a factor, but again he lost it at the other end of the pitch. There were an awful lot of other players who didn’t do their jobs for that goal to occur. But fine keep your pitchforks out for your scapegoats. Fucking worse than Grand Old Team in the match threads on here sometimes
  9. There’s a whole fucking team to defend behind him who got bypassed too easily. You can never blame someone losing the ball 80 years from your own goal for conceding
  10. I see it’s Longstaff's fault for giving the ball away on the edge of their box. Forum full of fucking Pardew's on here like
  11. Wow I see the usual suspects are watching a different game to me again. Honestly I think some people just enjoy upsetting themselves
  12. Jamie Redknapp being an utter buffoon in the studio as usual, that bloke shouldn’t be asked any question other than "what’s your favourite flavour window?"
  13. More than Abramovich's or even the money spent by the Moores family? Nobody gains the wealth needed to own and finance a football club without being a detestable twat
  14. Not really, given the lack of Schar, I think Burn was in as much for his leadership and experience as ability. Kelly hasn’t been around the group long enough to have a similar influence yet
  15. I think UEFA would be wise to keep out of such discussions, lest they find themselves the subject of proper scrutiny themselves
  16. This 👆 I don’t think it was even in thunderbastard territory either. Hate to say it but would a keeper with normal sized arms have been able to stop it?
  17. I hate sticking up for Man City here, but before they rocked up there were no fucking rules about how much an owner could spend. So this argument is a nonsense, Liverpool and Man Utd built their success by consistently spending more than other teams over decades.
  18. Or do all that and become a right wing grifter for cash, like the other criminal we had in our ranks at the same time
  19. Had 14 years where if we had someone capable of putting the ball in the net fairly regularly, they were generally sold sharpish
  20. It’s his job to drive clicks and engagement, that’s the reality of being a "journalist" in these post social media times. I do think he loves to take a broken glass/ less than half full view of things, but that’s his right. It’s up to us as readers to remember that though and view everything he says or writes in that context
  21. Honestly look at the rag that Hope writes for, its entire modus operandi is to make and keep people in a perpetual state of anger. If you don’t believe anything written on the front pages of the Mail, why the fuck would you give credence to what's written on the back?
  22. Is Antony suddenly going to gain several extra yards of pace after Eddie's coaching like? There are reason's Antony isn’t suited to this league above and beyond ETH's system
  23. Surely he does that in training before a match, I don’t think you can compete in top level elite sport with the mentality of I’m only going to go 7/10?
  24. I see what you mean but at the same time it took some comical defending from us to allow Spurs to score. They were very like Southampton with better quality, almost everything was in front of us and they relied on shots from distance. Their keeper made more proper saves than Pope unless my memory is playing tricks on me
  25. The entire midfield three on yellows and being bypassed, make a sub to change our only effective member if our front three. Murphy’s first action is then to play Spurs in FFS make it make sense
