  1. He'll be wanting to form a good partnership with his international colleague Anderson by that point too ?
  2. Can one of the Admins change this guys username to Ye Vs The People? He's gone full on mentally ill, pro Trump era Kanye in this thread like ??
  3. Why don’t you, stop being so presumptuous ?
  4. Does it not stop their development of Tyrick Mitchell though? Which given Palace seem to be a club that develop then sell young players, seems counter productive to their own aims.
  5. Just watched that myself, I honestly reckon I’d run through brick walls for that guy and I’m a decrepit 45 year old. The difference in our current leader to what went before must be immense for the players
  6. Maybe not, but I’d wager a few of their squad players would look a hell of a lot more competent under Howe than they do at their current teams.
  7. have a few of them not already been pushed down the pecking order due to the emergence of Miley, Anderson and A. Murphy though? plus it would appear we are bringing in another raft of 18 year olds just under the first team level too. I think everyone forgets that the likes of Jamie McClen and Martin Brittain played for us when we were in a similar position under SBR.
  8. I'll just check the view through my brown eye for confirmation
  9. Is it still the 80’s? Surely the current equivalent is your dad sells pictures of his hoop on OnlyFans ??‍♂️
  10. Yes but they oddly seem to have some needle between each other. Clearly being out on their own means they pick some weird rivalries, for example the previously mentioned on with Crystal Palace i mean are we close to a Everton or Spurs? Has that stopped us having a bit of needle the past few years?
  11. he's ex Bournemouth, it’s not so surprising, or for that matter half as confusing as the Brighton/Palace beef ??‍♂️
  12. Didn’t realise, read an article about him hoping to impress Howe in pre-season again, so presumed he was out there too
  13. Fella we get it, you’d rather we signed Frimpong for some reason. But there have been no links so it's just that an idea in your head. I dunno what to tell you, the coaching staff at Newcastle maybe.don't rate him, maybe Leverkusen might be deemed too difficult to negotiate with now they’ve sold Szoboszlai. Or hold on to your hat, maybe he doesn’t want to leave Leverkusen. Basically what I’m trying to say is, it looks like the club's recruitment team like the look of Livramento and there are concrete links that we are attempting to negotiate with Southampton to sign him, hence why we are talking about him in a thread on a Newcastle United forum. There have been no links to Frimpong other than the ones in your imagination, so maybe if you want to discuss Frimpong so much, maybe do so on a Leverkusen forum? Start a fanclub? Stalk him…..
  14. Well done you continue to convince yourself ?. Just admit you’ve never seen Livramento play. One season where according to you he was crap, according to everyone else was one of the best right backs in the league at a very tender age, which also resulted in a call up to the national setup.
  15. Because Livramento has actually played in the league we compete in, rather than the Bundesliga, where a large number of players have struggled to adapt to the PL, despite performing well in Germany. Secondly, if you think we are offering a straight £30M for Livramento I dunno what you've been reading as every reputable source here suggests it’s a heavily structured deal taking into account both his injury status and our FFP restrictions. So basically Frimpong for an additional 25% cost doesn’t fit with the clubs plans.
  16. The reason some of these heated debates start is because there are some people who seem to think their opinion, rather than just being just that an opinion, are somehow more knowledgeable than professional scouting and medical teams employed by multi-million pound companies. Given that, it is it any wonder that people who don’t share those opinions occasionally think it’s a bit much?
  17. Ok I'll bite, proven Premier League experience ring a bell?
  18. I liked you better, when you quietly stored my towels
  19. That’s mainly going to be coming from the forward or left sided 8 though surely. If our left back is spending the game in the half spaces on the edge of the oppositions area, our defensive record is going to be pretty shocking
  20. To be fair, I just saw an opportunity to make an obvious joke and shine a light on my own lifting patter
  21. Did we stay up and weaken a rival (Who ultimately went down) following that transfer? Then it achieved its purpose. The fact we ended up evens ffp wise, after his relatively prompt sale is even better.
  22. I suspect a few of our recent pick ups at that sort of level aren't even viewed as being for our first team, but rather easy flips to make us a bit of cash. In much the same way as Chelsea have been doing for about a decade now
