  1. yeah tonight we have the inspiring Steve "I won't really say anything in particular or certainly anything controversial" Harper. Dear oh dear
  2. I'm tempted to go to witness what could be a great day but I'm probably doing a fell race that day
  3. Why does he even bother turning up to St James when he knows how shit the football is going to be? It kind of suggests that there's a miniscule level of interest in the football itself. He wouldn't even have to do that much to make a shit load of money out of the club but spend a minimal amount (in comparison to tv money, player sales etc) on players and install a decent manager.
  4. Bruce showed up Pardew completely in the home match last season. Sure he's not an Ancelotti but he's tactically aware and doesnt talk s****, 2 things completely beyond our current manager.
  5. God forbid he manages to pick up a win in one of the upcoming games, that will ease things slightly but a couple of poor results, sitting in the bottom 3 and things will turn toxic.
  6. Not a fan of his I'm afraid be it lack of ability, poor coaching. 100mph with no end result
  7. Feel sorry for De Jong but it shows the fragility of our squad and the madness of letting players go when you aren't going to replace them. Nobody to blame but themselves.
  8. nail on the head. I've never been to St James and on so many occasions looked at the manager on the touch line and thought "clueless and cowardly".It's all about playing safe and keeping the club mid table, no risks, don't do anything which might jeopardise my position, hang onto the job at any cost. On Bruce, I'd have him ANY DAY over Pardew.
  9. They put us to the sword pretty comfortably last season and they've made some good signings. If we go into this off the back of a defeat at Saints he'll be running his hands together.
  10. Did that fat mess Woodman get a 8 year contract as well? "Fat mess" that one got me
  11. Martin Hardy is a good journo, has to be some credence to it. I think a loss at Saints and he'll really be on the brink going into the Hull match. If Hull were to turn us over we'd be virtually bottom of the table his position would almost be untenable (if it isn't already). On Sherwood, I don't rate him massively but he'd have new ideas ffs and likes to attack. The team is desperately in need of some new coaching, every man and his dog can see the players look bored to death with Pardew and his "tactics" as well as clueless as to what system they're meant to be playing.
  12. I honestly don't see the attraction of going anymore whatsoever. The football and tactics are diabolical, seeing that cunt in the dugout is enough to wind you up and the club their own admission aren't interested in winning cups or qualifying for Europe I mean honestly what is the point? The club is utterly pointless.
  13. A Saints win will get the ball rolling nicely......
  14. Even if Ben Arfa can't play against us the likes of Huddlestone and Diame will completely boss our midfield.
  15. The amount of stuff that happens with this crony at the helm and yet people still go and fill up the stands
  16. I think I'm almost calling it a day lads, I don't even get any enjoyment out of watching us anymore. Christ I was wiling Palace on to score on Saturday. I guess I might catch the odd game but it just doesn't hold the interest anymore.
  17. There's no limit to what they'll do is there. Why the f*** anyone would go St James park thesedays is beyond me, literally. Haven't been in 12 months won't be going for about 12 years the way this is going. My last match was Hull last season, no intention of going anywhere near the ground again while this lot is in charge. It's not even a difficult decision.
  18. There's no limit to what they'll do is there. Why the fuck anyone would go St James park thesedays is beyond me, literally.
  19. He's just done his Gullit, pride got in the way. Saints will have us and then there should be a hateful pit waiting for Pardew at the Hull match.
  20. Did you start following Newcastle yesterday?
  21. I agree, I think the lad needs a move/fresh start. He's quick, athletic and sure he isn't a clinical finisher but he's a great alternative to Girou and he'll get goals
  22. Caller just now on total sport nailed all the points about the current situation, well said.
  23. I never thought I'd dislike a manager more than Allardyce and Souness
