  1. Doesn't look anything like the player that first arrived
  2. Sorry that defending simply isn't good enough, same as Swansea handball or no handball Poor performance irrespective of the decisions
  3. That shocking challenge aside woeful defending from Santon and too man players simply haven't turned up. Crap so far
  4. Haidara been completely done by that cunt, they cant even assess him ffs cos he can't straighten his leg
  5. Always happens agaianst this lot, we make them look like Barcelona ffs

Jesus that's a shocking result, just got in Given they were playing against 10 men that's almost as bad as a defeat mentally
  7. One of those grounds you just associate a shit performance. I like Martinez but I wouldn't be sorry to see this lot go down. There's surely only so long you can keep flirting with relegation without eventually going down.
  8. Yeah we need a good showing here nt a shower of shit where we make Wigan look like Barcelona and sky wanks off in the post match review with the usual "they really can play some great stuff" Get in their faces, get it down and play and cause them some shit with our attacking players.
  9. Hard to say really though isn't it, they're a totally mixed bag. One thing is for sure we're harder to beat at the moment and the pace in our side cold be used to could effect against a side that likes to come out and play. There's pressure on them to win too. Be an interesting match
  10. So much for their drive for top four
  11. Not having the creative influence of HBA as of recent has effected his game recently. Ronaldo was right when he mentioned recently not enough crosses into the box and certainly not enough of any quality for Cisse to run onto. Hopefully Marveaux will be able to contritube more assists for him by continuing what he's done recently with those quality balls in.
  12. I agree, he can still put a ball in, hits a great free kick and can cover in a variety of positions. He's hardly a world beater but he certainly has a role to play for me.
  13. Sounds like the decision is being made by our medical team in discussions with the French lot too - in hindsight might have been better to do the operation back in December, but then I've no idea if that has other associated risks so I'm basically just guessing like everyone else! It's always best to go without surgery if you can avoid it isn't it? I think that's what they're trying to decide now. Journal says he's going to be assessed by French surgeon to Paris St Germain and the French national doctors. Seems it's a case of scar tissue in the hamstring and whether a prolonged recovery will sort yeild 100% recovery without surgery or whether only surgery itself will sort the problem. Disappointing but confident he'll be back fine for next season. What do PSG have to do with anything concerning him? Just going to see a French surgeon that PSG use as well? "He will be assessed by Paris Saint Germain surgeon Eric Rolland in France over the next few days and may go under the knife as early as next week if it is decided he needs the operation" - Journal
  14. Got some competition on his hands with the form of Elliott. True Elliot's been playing well but I'd much rather have Krul between the sticks in big games like Benfica away. Anyway Elliot's form might just be what's needed to tighten Krul's game up.
  15. I think it's a great draw, much rather play these than go back to Russia or Chelsea, Spurs. Alright Basle would've been better but Benfica is a glamorous tie. The fact we don't have to travel right before the derby is a big plus too.
  16. Krul back in training monday accorrding to the journal

  18. I accept it seems strange he started the match away in Russia but you make it sound like complete incompetence from the medical team. If the up to date scans have been done and show nothing, the player's reporting no problems in training consistently then I don't see what else they could've done really. They've followed normal guidelines. You've missed my point man, I'm probably not being clear. So I'm sorry. To put it simply, experts in their respected field gave the green light to play and Hatem probably felt ok to play so he did. I'm not blaming anyone. The exact opposite. It's nobody's fault based on the information we have. Unless there is some poor judgement or mistake on someone's spot not adhering to medical advice or listening to Hatem if he didn't want to play. It's an injury that looked healed and he triggered something again. It's out of everyone's hands in my opinion - poor luck, poor Hatem and poor us for missing such an exciting and brilliant player for us. Not many medically trained people on here for what i know- think its a bit naive of people to judge otherwise. I really enjoy this board alot, and really like nearly every poster on here- but people on here need to lose the hysteria a bit, relax, and just hope he recovers for his career and for our club. Apologies misinterpretation
  19. I didn't mean to sound like I was saying you were blaming people. Plenty of others, but not you. People are hysterical, man. Blaming Pardew for seemingly taking and looking at the scans of Ben Arfa's leg, massaging it through his rehabilitation, loooking at his aura to see any signs of match readiness. It's ridiculous, man. He was told he could be eased in, Ben Arfa will have wanted to play, he's also previously said he feels fine. He was okay during the game, off the pace but didn't look injured. There will have been literally no difference to him needing an operation by playing him against say Wigan this weekend or playing him earlier against Anzhi. So why is everyone going on about him being selected for the Anzhi game? Well said
