  1. Martin Hardy is a good journo, has to be some credence to it. I think a loss at Saints and he'll really be on the brink going into the Hull match. If Hull were to turn us over we'd be virtually bottom of the table his position would almost be untenable (if it isn't already). On Sherwood, I don't rate him massively but he'd have new ideas ffs and likes to attack. The team is desperately in need of some new coaching, every man and his dog can see the players look bored to death with Pardew and his "tactics" as well as clueless as to what system they're meant to be playing.
  2. I honestly don't see the attraction of going anymore whatsoever. The football and tactics are diabolical, seeing that cunt in the dugout is enough to wind you up and the club their own admission aren't interested in winning cups or qualifying for Europe I mean honestly what is the point? The club is utterly pointless.
  3. A Saints win will get the ball rolling nicely......
  4. Even if Ben Arfa can't play against us the likes of Huddlestone and Diame will completely boss our midfield.
  5. The amount of stuff that happens with this crony at the helm and yet people still go and fill up the stands
  6. I think I'm almost calling it a day lads, I don't even get any enjoyment out of watching us anymore. Christ I was wiling Palace on to score on Saturday. I guess I might catch the odd game but it just doesn't hold the interest anymore.
  7. There's no limit to what they'll do is there. Why the f*** anyone would go St James park thesedays is beyond me, literally. Haven't been in 12 months won't be going for about 12 years the way this is going. My last match was Hull last season, no intention of going anywhere near the ground again while this lot is in charge. It's not even a difficult decision.
  8. There's no limit to what they'll do is there. Why the fuck anyone would go St James park thesedays is beyond me, literally.
  9. He's just done his Gullit, pride got in the way. Saints will have us and then there should be a hateful pit waiting for Pardew at the Hull match.
  10. Did you start following Newcastle yesterday?
  11. I agree, I think the lad needs a move/fresh start. He's quick, athletic and sure he isn't a clinical finisher but he's a great alternative to Girou and he'll get goals
  12. Caller just now on total sport nailed all the points about the current situation, well said.
  13. I never thought I'd dislike a manager more than Allardyce and Souness
  14. Anyone see the interview on Skysports? The words 'step' or 'stepping' and 'at this stage' were most definitley prominent. Good signing who clearly has ambitions way above our current level. This is gonna be a feature under this lot so we had just better get used to it. We are a good sized, well supported and well publicised club for players to showcase themselves: end of. oh and a good payday for charlatans who are willing to brown nose.... Yeah absolutely perfect example of the type of player told "come and play for us, put yourself in the shop window and you can get a payday moving to a bigger club while we get our sell on profit". Losing players to bigger more successful clubs will always be an issue but it doesn't have to be firmly set in club policy as it is here. Just look at Everton, they tend to hold onto players and try and build a team whereas we're the complete opposite.
  15. "I can tell you I've just been fed more bullshit from Lee Charnley but I had a direct phone call from him so it must be something I can bleat on about in front of the cameras"

Not sure its bitterness, some people just think he's going to end up similar to Demba Ba at Chelsea, might be wrong. I tend to agree that he's unlikely to play that much, Arsenal would have been a much better move. Arsenal pulled out of any potential move
  17. The worst football correspondent on the plant.
  18. It'll be interesting to hear the views tomorrow even if it is shit most of the time.
  19. We'll still have Ando championing his cause tomorrow on total sport dear oh dear "He's being poorly treated by the board" blah blah I hope to fuck someone calls in tomorrow with the cold hard facts of his reign here, maybe I should.
  20. I think he's finally on the ropes properly, it's starting to gather pace. Just a couple more awful results needed

I don't know why people are bitter A top quality proven striker signing for a team aiming for the league title and champions league. Ofcourse he'll get games, Drogba is only going to be bit part so at the very least he'll be coming on in league matches second half, cups and occasional champions league match. He's second on line and Costa will pick up the odd niggle. His other choice was playing for Pardew where he'd be completely isolated in a tactically awful side with the sole ambition of finishing mid table. He might be impressed by the fans and stadium but that's not enough is it.
  22. A player like this should never be a starter. He should be allowed time to bed in, coming on as a sub, working to get his confidence up which is crucial given his limitations. As it is he's isolated up front and all the pressure is on him to get the goals ffs. I mean you couldn't make it up It's awful, truly awful player management.
  23. The way we're playing, the upcoming fixtures and the limited chances of Ashley bringing in many more players means there's a degree of inevitability unfolding I think. You can't polish a turd and I think we may well be approaching the end game.......finally. The problem will then be who the oaf in charge replaces him with.
