Well not only that but there's the issue of who we might sell too! The two at the top will always think of ££££££ first before footballing sense. -

If Col is fit I'd like to see: Krul Simpson Perch Colo Santon Ben Arfa Cabaye Gosling Jonas Ba Shola We'll see (if Colo is fit) Krul Simpson Perch Colo Raylor Obertan Cabaye Guthrie Jonas Ba Shola -
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2071388/Fabricio-Coloccini-hopes-fit-Newcastle-Saturday.html That's good news but I'd rather he wasn't risked and then be out for ages, maybe better to get him back for Swansea. Still I have faith in Pardew and the physios.

As good as Tiote has done would a move away (money aside) really be the best thing for him. If you look at Chelsea for example Ramires is playing really well, there's Romeu who started against us and Essien is back end of Jan/Feb. Tiote is quality and it'd be far from a Bassong to Spurs situation but would be be guaranteed to start if he moved away?
-
Playing out wide there's also less pressure on him to "run the entire game" so that if a play breaks down all the focus is on him. I'd much rather see his talent used to run at people or creating chances for two strikers.
-
Best and Ba up front and stick him on the wing and get him running at people, he's going to do far more than Obertan does at present so what's there to lose. Really can't see Pardew doing that though he'll still persist with Obertan.
-
The match at Everton which everyone wanks over and rightly so, didn't he play on the wing then?
-
Liverpool or Spurs

When you find a keeper like Krul you need to hold onto them as they can be a solid platform to build on for years. Problem is we have fat man owning the club and his odious little urchin underneath him who stated recently "people don't realise how horrible we can be". They will always think about selling and this will ALWAYS compromise the club while those two are running the show.
-
More likely back for the Swans by the sounds of things.
-
It's actually worth taking a hit on a couple of results not to rush him back. If he's rushed back and breaks down again we're royally fucked.

Santon is 6'2 and decent on the ball from clips but then I don't see him in training obviously. -
He was ok yesterday and what he needs is the fans support not clowns shouting abuse at him in the next few matches because quite frankly he's all we've got.
-
He's going to have to come to his senses over a few things over the coming weeks in relation to where to play Ben Arfa, dropping Obertan maybe, bringin Santon in but if you take 3 major players out of any side like yesterday and you're playing one of the top sides you're always going to be up against it. If we'd fielded a team with Tiote, Colo for a full match and Jonas playing we would have been an entirely different challenge for Chelsea.

Best or Shola to partner Ba up front. Need more size to defend corners/free kicks against this lot. -

Why are people putting Colo in their side, thought he was out? -

Clearly this next game is get whatever you can out of it and then return for Swansea hopefully with a much healthier lookings side. -
Atleast he wasn't heavily limping or anything. Still think it'll be Swansea before we see him back though.
-
Surely have to sign a starter and a Ridgewell type utility defensive player in Jan as well as a left/right back/striker. Get your cheque book out fatty

This result today is far from the "new beginning" for Chelsea and AVB. They played well but it still papers over the cracks and lets see how they fair against Valencia, City at home and Spurs away. I have plenty of good mates down here who are Chelsea fans, all proper fans too but I for one will raise a glass in the pub tuesday evening if Valencia put them out.
-
True but without key players in Colo, Tiote and Jonas it was always going to be difficult. I see no reason why we souldn't play Ben Arfa on the wing.
-
Big difference between a partial and full rupture. Sounds pretty grim but lets just wait until things are confirmed I guess. 6-8 weeks with Williamson to come back and the Jan transfer window to come wouldn't be a terrible situation. Ofcourse thats the ultra positive viewpoint and I'm expecting the worse.

What a total gutter for the lad and the team.
