They really are so bitter and mental. Every single player we have or sign is apparently s***, just know it's gonna come back to bite them. Yet they think their players are fantastic. I just don't get why they seem so bitter, if they had a decent player I would acknowledge it, their keeper has been pretty decent - the rest of them are functional footballers in the bang average bracket, not totally horrific but not pulling up any trees. We have some clearly above average players when on form in Cabaye, Ben Arfa, Colo and Krul and arguably Cisse (Who I still believe will start scoring) and some massive potential in Anita, Santon, Debuchy (Who they say has been s*** in our 2 games - he just simply hasn't been), Sissokho, Mbiwa. I honestly believe we will start to show what a team we can be with these additions as we should no longer see Williamson/Simpson and Shola every game. It should make a massive difference to our build up play with that Sissiokho, Debuchy and Gouffran in the team - I hope it all takes off, I feel quite confident we are now in a good position to kick on It's just constant aggression on that board and mindless insults.
-
I'm confident that once the players bed in a bit and things settle down this side will beat teams. You put Mbiwa, Sissoko into that side to go with Debuchy and bring a fit again HBA and we're a totally diffferent prospect 2nd half of the season. I think we'll win enough games to stay up.

"unknown players...........has anyone ever heard of them?" There's a few sensible types on there who have the honesty to see that they're quality signings. Most just come out with the usual brainless nonsense.

Aston Villa vs Newcastle - 29/01/13 @ 7:45pm - Not on TV

Well atleast we can go there with some confidence/umph behind us. We have more options to impact the game now. We'll have a speedy striker hungry to make an impact and even if Sissoko didn't start, to bring someone like that in in the second half And with Colo staying, Mbiwa there to step in or Taylor maybe ready to come back into the side the back line should be a lot more solid. -
WHat did I say? 6.30 ....ok only 3 mins out
-
I like the fact he's a pure left footer and meant to be lightning quick
-
He's not looking at any options, he's signing for us. Yeah so was remy Boring. Is it not a possibility? I guess there's always a possibility in the madness of football but given he's given public interviews saying he's on his way here suggests its far more likely he's coming here than not.
-
It depends, a fee was agreed yesterday so he could have been on his over yesterday afternoon, last night, or even this morning. He's just done an interview with RMC where he said he was saying goodbye to his teamates in Toulouse though, so he could only have set off for a plane within the last hour. We better check the windspeeds as well to see how long flight time from Toulouse might be affected? Come one lads

The flew Cisse in on a private jet

Good job you're not in the dressing room giving the motivational speech before kick off

Can someone do a quick run down of what he's said after (any of the French speakers on here) ......ah i see its being done anyway

Are there threads on RTG kicking off about this then? -
For me the new signings make both of those games something we can target points from, especially Chelsea at home - in their last 3 league games they've drawn with Southampton and lost to QPR. We'll definitely lose at WHL unless there's some kind of bonkers result but I don't think Chelsea is a nailed on loss. I'm not expecting to win far from it but I think we'll give them a really good game with the new signings on show. They're quite hit and miss at the moment too although a lot will depend on how we come out of the Villa match re confidence.

I agree. The signs do all point to this going through fairly soon though.

Where are people watching this in town, be good to go somewhere with a good atmosphere. Bar Blanc will have it on round the corner from me but not sure how many will be in watching it. Hotspur in town maybe or Rosie's might be worth a go. Is Shark Bar any good? (birds with big bangers is clearly a bonus) -
How on earth is this lad still on the payroll
-
Yeah I think he's really starting to worry about Champs league. Pool are starting to make noises, Everton won't go away and Spurs are a better side than them at the moment. Chelsea will always be up there with the players they have whatever nonsense is going on at that club.

Off top of my head Gouffran 1.5m Mbiwa 6.7m Sissoko (if/when he signs reported to be 2m) Haidara 2.5m 12.7? Debuchy!!!!! Oops shit

No idea what Arsenal are about thesedays. He won't sign quality players and yet he's moaning about someone else strengthening to cover their deficiencies? They used to bash people up with Vieira and Petit in midfield and put teams away with Bergkamp, Henry etc up front. He's gone away from having his sides possess a physical side as well as finesse and they've stopped buying real quality and they're not the same club they were - the policies have failed. They're in real danger of missing out on the Champs league.
