Redknapp's mastery, Bucket loads of cash more like. Despite my perverse humour on this, it's a proper kick in the knackers.

The strange thing in all this is that part of Carr's scouting is over the player's character, I've even heard him say this himself. Players we're signed so far have all seemed to be pretty good lads. This completely bucks the trend if true.

Same here in a kind of shocked, perverse, bizarre, how ridiculous football can be

Bang on basically. He's putting himself in the shop window at QPR so win win for him

QPR have clearly thrown bucket loads of cash at him, stupid amounts and there'll be a clause he can leave end of season if they go down etc. Gone for the money, nowt else
  6. Ando saying he shook his head at Pardew when he got substituted and walked straight down the tunnel  So he's deluded as well being rubbish
  7. Good for him for saying what he's said. Someone has asked him if he'd like to play for his dream club, I mean what's he supposed to say. Can't knock him for saying he'd consider a move if we don't show ambition in the summer, perfectly understandable.

Get the feeling this might well be announced tomorrow

Eaxctly, while it would be very disappointing we're better off without players like that.

Yeah SSN are constantly trying to drum up drama and the windows are their feeding frenzy. The Andy Carroll transfer was their absolute wet dream

Fucking David Craig Whenever he starts with "it is my understanding".........i.e he knows fuck all basically. Possibly worse than Graham Courtney which takes some doing

http://www.journallive.co.uk/nufc/newcastle-united-news/2013/01/14/61634-32592405/ Remy flew in last night Trying to convince Colo to stay until summer atleast
  13. Hopefully back for Chelsea

Some blazing pace would surely do wonders to stretch the field a bit and give more room for the likes of Marveaux and Cabaye to operate in. The one thing defenders hate is pure speed.
  15. Lets be honest if we put in a bid that the club accepts and its between us and Sunderland the attraction of playing with all the French lads would surely swing it in our favour?

I'll trust Carr who has already identified, Cabaye, Cisse, Debuchy, Tiote et al

He might start a game on the right but as Skirge said it'll probably be interchangeable with HBA if/when they play together. Don't see why it has to be rigid. Have every faith that Carr will have done his homework on the lad and we don't part with close to 10m for dogshit players. Hope he's got the pace to frighten the life out of back fours.

I like the idea of raw pace and directness with Remy on one side and HBA's skill on the other either side of Cisse
  19. What as opposed to saying "it makes no difference to us having Cabaye and Taylor back" and "the fans aren't important in matches like these" when probably asked in the press conference about returning players and the crowd factor by journalists. What else is he supposed to say ffs
  20. Had an awful game yesterday and seems to have lost some of the momentum he had before that brief injury because he'd been quality. Looking forward to see him start with Cabaye next sat though.
  21. Given the circumstances this is the one time where I don't really blame him for setting us up for a point. We've been so open at the back recently conceding a flood of goals, we really needed not to get beaten yesterday. If we'd gone for it, left ourselves open and then conceded and lost it would have been a disaster the way things have been going. That said if he sets us up negatively at home against Reading or doesn't go for the kill against a Villa team almost on its knees then I'll be the first to come on here and slate him.
  22. As s*** as we've been, confidence plays a massive role in football and the way teams play. If we pick up a couple of wins the team will start to play with a bit more freedom irrespective of how Pardew sets them up. Having Cabaye and Taylor back in the side will give us a much more resilient look too. Teams like Fulham and West Ham are stalling above us too so things can change around fairly quickly in the table. We'll have a pretty good idea of where things are going to make predications after the Reading and Villa games and come the Chelsea match because the window will be shut and we'll know where we stand with the squad. With a full side out at home and bit a confidence we'll give the good sides a proper match so that wouldn't surprise me
