  1. I thought he’s looked a bit sharper in recent appearances. Today would be a great day to look a lot sharper though.
  2. Yes I think it’s probably (hopefully) this. Don’t take any chances with him today and aim to have him start v Everton.
  3. Yeah they could bail us out but I’d just like to see us get it done far more straightforwardly rather than desperately checking other results 😂

Palace will surely have to sell this summer with a year left or risk getting nowt? I mean he’s served his purpose, they’ve won a cup, comfortably stayed up etc. Parish can’t really take the same hard ball approach again to whoever he deals with.
  5. I get that viewpoint completely however the new format of the CL does make things slightly easier in terms of difficulty of opponent week in week out and squad rotation. I think we’ll make sufficient signings for the squad to be that but stronger too. The other key point for me is I think our blue chip players want to be playing in the champions league too. Being in it reduces the risk of certain players leaving while also improving our chances of signing top players as well as the financial gains. I think where we’re at it’s more important to be in the champions league.
  6. I can actually see him going to Man U but it’s immediate pressure on him to perform and Lord only knows what’s going to happen to that club in the coming months. Wouldn’t be surprised if Amorim gets sacked or walks away 😂
  7. Agree with all of those, Howe would rejuvenate DCL and he’d give us the aerial threat option. Fitness hasn’t been so much of an option recently as opposed to just not scoring goals. Going heavy on gk, CB, RW would really transform us (I do still like the idea of a different option in midfield, a play-maker type to break teams down but you can have everything I guess).
  8. Gordon will have a point to prove against Arsenal but especially against Everton at home.
  9. Spot on, Chelsea or Villa drawing on the final day is definitely possible.
  10. Yes getting ahead in the first half will be key as it will force them out more and probably lead to a more routine win. The idea of us encamped in their half/edge of the box searching for a winner the whole second half 😫
  11. I can’t see Postecoglou lasting there. He’s got no idea how to organise a defence, seemingly no plan B and is just a grump thesedays with any journalist and any questions which are even mildly critical. He’s become a bore too.
  12. I actually think Villa as well as Chelsea could drop points on the final day of the season but we just need to get our own house in order and get it sorted. Beating Arsenal is the dream scenario but while Everton is definitely tricky we’ll put them away at home. Obviously the longer it goes on and we aren't winning the more nervy it’ll get.
  13. As if those two knackers of clubs were ever going to win 😂
  14. I just want to get CL sorted to then see if we can get our top targets sorted too.
  15. We’re obviously hoping that either Chelsea or Villa drop points tonight (unlikely but you never know) or that we can somehow pull off a win on Sunday which would be amazing. But it’s almost certainly going to come down to us putting Everton away on Sunday. That could be a tough fixture as they’ve picked up recently but I’m still confident of this team and its mentality having the composure to get the job done. (There’s obviously other squeaky bum situations relying on the final Forest match but we don’t want to go there at all!)
  16. Correct plays in the left for Palace too I think, can play either side though.
  17. So if Villa or Chelsea even drew, a point would be good enough for us in the final two games on the basis of goal difference and being caught? (Assuming City obviously get a place).
  18. Someone who can bring something slightly different too, open up a team.
  19. Total guesswork is it’ll be either Mbuemo or a signing from the compliment. Agree on Elanga, not really convinced by him.
  20. Trafford, Mbuemo, Guehi and a back up striker 😍
  21. Guehi, still think it might happen too
  22. With CL qualification and more financial leeway I’d hope we can really beef up the team this summer and really take the team up another level.
