Hope coming up on talksprt talking about the match and no doubt recent troubles šš -
Yes the club was completely in the doldrums, weāve almost had to start from scratch. He speaks well and comes across well to me but he will have to answer some questions over whatās gone on recently and I donāt see an issue with that. Wasnāt there an article making links with Ashley ffs, maybe Kennedys? Fuck off ffs š

I agree itās not a great look for a new sporting director regarding this recent window but with his contacts and seeming ability to unearth talent/good deals heās probably exactly what we need in this ridiculous PSR world. I donāt get writing him off at all. That said similar to my post on Eales, he with the others needs to sit down and analyse errors and work out what they do from here on on - namely maximising the january window to help us finish in Europe of better. There clearly needs to be a better plan of attack where everyone is on board. If we throw this season away because of the summer window then we really are looking at massive upheaval squad wise next summer.
-
I donāt really get the writing off of Eales as a no hoper/blagger, heās got solid experience. Does he deserve to answer questions though, absolutely, itās on his watch. Thereās been a collective fuck up regarding PSR. Iām still not sure how we got ourselves in such a serious predicament back in June forcing us to sell. Something went seriously wrong there where we seem to have taken our eye off the ball. The June PSR situation and the current failed window is the first major blip since the takeover. There needs to be a collective sit down and work out how we do things moving forwards because it seems a bit chaotic currently. The changes at boardroom level have obviously effected things too. My own personal opinion is I think we need to see more concrete action - st James decision, training ground update, more sponsorship announcements. It all seems to have lost a bit of momentum. I just hope Eddie keeps the team unified, we avoid serious injuries and then go again in Jan in the transfer window after a bit of a sort out. We can still have a very good season but no doubt things have been a let down recently.
-
Mark Douglas is about as balanced as they get to be fair, Iāve always liked him the most.
-
Yeah my hope is we avoid any serious injuries, show some proper team spirit that was evident at the end of the Forest game get Botman back then strengthen in Jan after a solid 1st half of the season. That gives the second half of the season a totally different look and feel. My worry is a few key injuries and a destabilising summer from the window and players like Gordon possibly having their heads turned. A result against spurs with a radged up St James would help a lot
-
Yeah this is a wet dream for Hope
-
Not getting the Tosin deal knocked all our plans sideways and then they went all in on Guehi and still didnāt get that one done. It kind of puts to pay that Howe was hell bent on one player though.
-
Wind your neck in ffs š Heās got bag loads of experience and Iām sure in time will facilitate plenty of good signings. But yes collectively he is part of a transfer window that has failed and thereāll have to be review and questions asked. Nowt like someone completely overreacting though haha
-
Yeah i donāt like him at all.
-
Feel like particularly after this piss poor window there needs some clarity on St James park moving forwards and the training ground situation.
-
Yes the spectre of Ashley still hangs over us with all the deadwood floating around on long and expensive contracts. He really did fuck us in so many ways.
-
Yeah thereās no chance heās coming to us now.
-
Parrish has stood firm for his club but heās still a wanker and heās been at the forefront of an anti nufc agenda in the league. Their fans seem to have taken a disliking (often sanctimonious on the Saudi theme) and to be honest I donāt really like them. I hope we fucking smash them at St James.
-
Yeah, agreed thereās a strong chance all three are gone next season and we have a complete reset. Doesnāt seem like the project that was sold to them initially.
-
I donāt think Isak stays next season if we donāt have champions league and thereās question marks over the other two as well.
-
Piss poor window, 3 maybe 4/10. Yes we kept the big hitters and brought in Kelly and Osula but in a season where we have a real chance to get back into Europe/top four because of our lack of Europe to not strengthen in any of the key areas which everyone knows weāve needed is failure. Theyāve had ages to formulate a list of targets and then when itās come to it have failed to execute the plan several times with Tosin, Kelman and Guehi and thatās then effected recruitment on the RW. Really deflating.
-
Yes also surely the CEO handles negotiations with Mitchel with updates to Howe.
-
I think Eales will go on to do well for us, however heās also collectively responsible for getting this window completely wrong which could have huge ramifications for the club this season and moving forwards.
-
šweāve been properly had
-
No new RW, no new CB, Dubravka still back up. Fuck me šš¤¦āāļø
-
All looks so desperate doesnāt it
-
I agree with you, Iāve already stated how shite this window has been multiple times. The club will have looked at whatās available already rightly or wrongly.

Sheās a fucking idiot
