    Alexander Isak

There was a few times he had the ball and seemed to be expected just to create miracles with next to nobody around him too. Hope we see him and Wilson together against Sheffield Utd, but not Isak on the left.
  2. Frustrating to watch, still not looking like we’re clicking. The intent seems there, but nothing coming off at all. Could blame the humidity tonight maybe, but it’s not a performance that would make anybody worried. Can’t single out anyone good or bad from that really. Tonali looked up for it first half but faded in the 2nd. Let’s hope we’re fully back to our best for Sheffield Utd.
  3. I nearly booked the flight thinking this?
  4. It was terrible when I sat there. Took the Mrs for the first time and she said she'd never go again as "you've only got one song".
  5. My Mrs mate won just over £4k on a ten fold of mostly favourites and Brighton. They were a crazy price.
  6. I’m on the wind up lads don’t worry? the best I remember of Butt was a very brief purple patch and as for Smith, I think his only goal was against either Juve or Sampdoria in a pre-season Friendly?

    St James' Park

I was in the box office for Tonali’s goal against Villa and couldn’t hear anything.
  8. That’s a brilliant price.
  9. Nicky Butt and Alan Smith didn’t do too bad for us did they?
  10. I thought this myself, but he seems happy and settled here. Also has a very good chance of getting 2nd in our top Prem goalscorer list. Would love for him to retire here and get in the coaching set-up.
  11. I’d love to see Hall as much as the next fan, but I doubt he’s ready to start a game yet after Eddie saying he’s not really had a pre-season for Chelsea.. let alone us. I’d try Trips on the left and bring Tino in on the right. Really want to see how Isak would play just off Wilson, but can’t see Howe putting both into his system. Got full faith in Howe to turn things around, but we do need to tinker a little bit. Villa we were great, City and Liverpool unlucky, Brighton just piss poor apart from the first few mins. So frustrating to watch us pass it around the opposition box for it to end in nothing. Think we’ll be back to Winning ways with this, Brentford have been a bit hit and miss from what little I’ve seen of them this season although unbeaten. 3-1 - Isak, Wilson (2), Janlet for them.
  12. How’s Diaby looking? Need a SOT from him to win a bet builder, but my cash out is half decent.
  13. Longshot, but can anybody recommend somewhere in Seville to watch this?
  14. I’m happy with that, none of them are what they once were. Still a very tough group but I think we’ve got every chance on our day.
  15. Think we all thought we were in today after the sending off. Never seen a sending off celebrated so much? but we just seemed very flat after. Crowd after half time changed too, wasn’t as vocal. Miggy played okay for me, on a good day would have have a few goals, unfortunately that wasn’t today. Today really did highlight his limitations though. If we had another Gordon type on the right, we would have absolutely murdered them. Although he didn’t show much today, I’d like to see how Barnes does on the right. Standing section was absolutely roaring first half, big contrast to where I sat in the Leazes for Villa. Could feel the nerves creeping in from 50/60 mins though. Shit subs were partially to blame for the loss yeah, but on a luckier day we would have been playing against 9 men and probably 4/5-0 up. Heard a stat that today was the most saves Alisson has ever made for Liverpool. Says a lot on our part.

    Harvey Barnes

    Wilson looked fuming.
  17. I did get two for the Villa game which were refused at the gate. The seller emailed me after saying he had 2 pairs of tickets for the game and sent the same pair twice. Apologies from him and had my money back or offered me future tickets for free. Said he could get them every home game so I don’t think he’s getting them from a member ballot. It didn’t show as a season ticket on my e-ticket either. Man City game I bought a re-sale for "hospitality” which was just easier access to food/drink and also a bit where you could pour your own pints. Was originally sent a screenshot of a ticket on a google wallet for this. Emailed StubHub saying it wasn’t sufficient for entry and they got me a proper ticket sent within an hour or so. There was one ticket in our end going for about £120 I think, but didn’t want to risk that with chances of the I.D checks. I’ve been very lucky so far, but you are gambling when buying resale tickets.. the E-tickets solve no issue as to touting as the tickets can be sent to multiple wallets. For someone like me who lives 4 hours away, with no friends/family who could transfer me tickets when not able to go, ballot or spares on here are my only option. If these fail I’m still always probably going to try re-sale despite the risks. Some sites guarantee your money back either way.
  18. Unless you’re gonna face I.D every ticket, you’re gonna be hard pressed to stop any sort of touts.
  19. Giving us no space at all in the final third. Hopefully they tire out 2nd half and we can nick a couple of goals.
  20. That West Brom game… still get flashbacks of that to this day.
  21. Hall looks very good. But we’ve got to remember the lad is only 18, I’d say £30m is sensible for him. All for it but doubt he’ll be thrown in at left back straight away.
