Obertans been great so far imo. gosling quite poor and Vuckic just too slow with the ball, takes to long time with his long legs to move em around.

Obertan has looked better atleast. Hopefully he can keep it up and get a few good showins in the europa and kickstart his career.

Tbf Berbatov for 4.5 millions isn't such a bad deal. With his style of play he can easily go on 3-4 years before he's getting to that useless mark.

Imo, it's really the matter whether the new commings are better then the ones left. As Amalfitano seems to be playing out wide or as a wide forward. We got anita, bigi, vuckic whom are three totally different playstyles and can all give us something abit different. But as said earlier, 3 spots are pressing, backup cb, right back and an forward.

Tbf, wanted both a right back and most a forward with abit more ability. As good as both papiss and ba are in the box, they just aren´t all that outside the box, and we would have been better off imo if we had someone with more linkup ability as an option for the though days.

Aren´t we allready on a profit this season? thought we really didn´y have to sell anyway with the economy we have now. Even though think anita can really step up as a good replacement, but we´ll miss the muscles.

He was playing in a team last year with no passion, had no trust from the supporters of the team and had a shitty year. Homesick appareantly as he was rather often observed back north aswell. All that stuff will offcourse affect you. And do mind, his manager played to his weakness rather then strength. Back here he the bad feeling will be forgotten once he scores a goal, I am quite sure of that. Especially if we can get him back for 12 million, I mean he then earned us 23 million for nothing? Once he gets his glow, will and joy back he will tear defences apart again.

Tbf, think Amalfitano really challanged Marveaux for that backup winger spot yesterday. Marveaux struggled to beat his man and get play going from his winger position, whilst Fitano took it as his own straight away.

The game last night was rather slow paced and mere walking around though, can't see players beeing too tired after a match like that. The day off today with a tactical meeting and up and go again.

Obertan looks like he's mismanaged tbf. He obviously can beat alot of players with technique and pace purely, but isn't encouraged enough to do so. If he was yelled at to have a go every time he got the ball he would have tried more, if he tried more he would succed more and it would've snowballed, that I am pretty certain about.

think we might actually see jonas on the wing on saturday, with Ba through the middle and HBA on the other flank. With Cabs, Tiote and Anite in the middle.

Struggled to see who was who out of him and bigirmana because of the pixels. But they did their job quite well in the middle keeping posession. Don't really think neither of the top 4 had their day (starting ones). So seemed quite hard to get the ball forward at times.

If we can recapture his form from when he was here. Not just the goals but the overall play and joy he had. He was literally everywhere in attack taking it down, making the ball move to the wingers, storming back into the box ready for the massive header. Carroll really has something both Ba and Cisse lacks and that is brute strength in his hold up play. He can keep the ball in positions where I've often seen both Ba and Cisse struggle to keep it. Whilst they most definetly got that extra pace and deadly finishing attributes. More often comes with a piece of brilliance. Carroll just takes it down and passes it on without the fuzz around it. He just offers something else we don't have, wich is the main reason I'm positive. Anyway, I really do think Ba and Cisse are to alike to play together up top, as against spurs, I just felt the linkup play between themself and down to midfield was quite nonexistant.

Santon really is young and been out for the most part after his breakthrough season. People slag it off like Lennon was a shit winger wich he by any means is not. Lennon is actually quite good at getting crosses in. But in all Santon has to play every week to gain experience to handle players like that. Simpson just isn't in par technically to give that extra up field that we need.
