If HBA is going to play in that number 10 role, we either need a new forward able to keep hold of the ball, or we need hatem to develope his game into a more conventional striker.

Can see us get dominated, but they don't score at free will anymore. That Michu has somewhat stopped, but their wingers are terrifying, hence we will go a 4-4-2 and get raped.

For me, it's no longer about the results, I'm just tired of watching the dreadfull football. Almost at the point where, as long as we won't go down I don't care, if they just try to knock it around and use some imagination to get things going.

Should be shifted over to the left side of midfield. Why? Because our left defender, leftback and left sided midfielders are all better passers and attackminded then the right side of our team. They will get into better positions for one-twos. They will get the ball to HBA in better positions. And tbf, hba can do whatever he wants with the ball, he has proven he can cut inside and fire a shot with his right.

We look to be playing footie at times, having players in positions where they can do the most damage. Then the next game we return to shit football. Why? We didn't even look like scoring yesterday. Far to few chances.

Wouldn't mind selling one of our assets for some big money tbf. The staff has shown that they can work wonders with any funds comming in. Just as long as it ain't HBA, he is pretty much the player that differs us from the clog of the average teams.

Hasn't really got going in the position that made him flourish in Ajax either. As that defensive midfielder/sweeper kind. If we can get him going there I'm sure he will be an real asset. We can allow our backline to push up. Because he's fast and he can cover the backline well. He's good at passing, both long and short (see 2nd goald against brugge). He knows a forward pass aswell. Only thing he really ain't going for him is height and steel. But if you're good at what you do, you have a spot in footie. What we need to do, imo. is push tiote further forward into that more midfielder position. Where he can try to win the ball higher up the pitch with Anita covering. Tiote has shown at occations that he can release good balls in and around the box. He's also strong so he can keep hold of the ball further up the field aswell as an outlet in imidate presence of the opposite box. Having him in this position doesn't force him to turn play and do the hollywoodballs either, which Anita imo is better at anyway.

has to involve himself more in linkup play. The ball was going high up to strikers alot because there was no one to pass to.

Saw comparisons to Modric, remember Modric himself used quite some time to adapt to the permier league. Remember him getting bullied all the time the first season and a half atleast.

Sammy really struggling to make anything happen when on the ball.

Think Tiote really is hampering his settlement. Tiote is used to that 4-4-2 formation where he really is the active midfield defender, covers alot of ground imposing himself. He just might run too much for Anita to be secure about his positioning at times. If we play with a 3 man midfield, it would open so many options for us, but the three in the middle have alot of learning to do in that department to get the best out of eachother.

Tiote still out for 2 more prem games?

think he really balanced the midfield well yesterday. Was allways there to hassle and break up counters. Covering for both fullbacks when they ventured forward. Was also composed when on the ball and seldom gave it away. I really think he was integral for our good spell of passing and movement.

Thought he said last interview that he wanted us to play like Hoses Chelsea? Thight at the back and aggressive counters?

with the way europe is going we should use the training to focus on the next prem game. It is comming fast and bruge game should be no other than training for the team. We really need to pick up points the next games if we want to challange.

Think Anita took his place in the middle today. Allthough the ref wasn't really giving him much when trying.

his style of dribbling got figured out today imho, against those nimble players liverpool got he couldn't just turn faster and accelerate. This put aside, I was abit dissapointed, didn't do much on the ball, tried few creative passes on the whole. Got out of awkward situations a few times though.

Didn't really think he was that special today, albeit not recieving much help when on the attack, he didn't really get much done, apart from the shot.

think he was the perfect partner to colo at the left hand side. Colo isn't the strongest of lads, so Enrique could take some of that burden from him as colo just picked up the scraps. He's also lightning quick, and when playing with confidence ther wasn't many better in the league either. Would love to have him back.
