Surely Spurs/Liverpool have to take a punt on Leandro. I would say us but we all know there's fucking no chance of that happening or punting on anyone to be honest.
-
Fuck it, get him back in, what's the worst that can happen apart from him stealing a couple more million from us.
-
Yeah arteta was mentioned but like you said just overloaded in that position with talent for a long time. Di canio is a very good shout, suprised at him.

I hate this day me like. Just can never enjoy it. The fact we are more likely to sell than we are to buy is infuriating. Can't remember the last deadline day where i was over the moon with the business that we done. Then we'll see spurs parading in players right left and centre even though they've just sold VDV then to top it all off, Willian will arrive as breaking news on Monday morning for the kernts.

I was too far away to see exactly what happened but just seemed to me one of them tackles where you thought it was nothing but the way raylor seemed in a lot of pain knew something bad had happened. Similar to Aguero at the start of the season.

Fulham...Fantastic club with a Fantastic statue. I can't ever see me thinking Fulham are a bigger club than Villa.
-
Just out curiosity as i was talking about the best players you've seen never to be capped for their country last night in the pub, who do any of you's reckon? I said Enrique, but i was slated FOR that one. I honestly think he's been hard done by never to have been called up when he was at us. Spain weren't overloaded with quality left backs at the time but now the arrival of jordi alba seems increasingly unlikely jose will get called up.

To be fair Dempsey i'd rather be playing for Villa than Fulham. Fair enough Fulham probably have the better side currently but Villa are without a doubt a bigger club and have more potential than what Fulham do. For Villa's sake i hope they give Lambert some time to sort the club and not sack him without giving him a real shot at it.

Last night was very scrappy but we did what we had to do. Could have done without the couple of scares but they were hardly going to just roll over in the biggest game of their lives. I love bigi but thought he was rather sloppy tonight, definitely got potential but is very raw. Thought obertan was awful the first half but second half really came into it well but his final ball was letting him down. Thought Marv was a standout player, thought he had an excellent game, love to see him more and more in throughout the season. I'm trying to like Gosling and give him the benefit of the doubt but he seems to be getting worse rather than better.

Been betting since my dad started putting lucky 15's on for me as a wee bairn and i've never looked back since yet i've never bothered with finding out that simple formula, more fool me Cheers for all that though

My mistake then, just that whole post (bar the last sentence) seemed to be you seriously diagnosing how the mackems haven't improved, which seemed a good post till your horrific evaluation of Fletcher (but you were joking of course).
-
Anyone know what our prices are for -1 -2 and -3? Fractions if possible, clueless with the decimal malarky.
-
After 60 minutes of football where he had a poor game against an awful side that now means his future at the mackems 'doesn't look good for him'. What an awful evaluation.

I'm all for his Carroll out campaign. Carroll for stoke/west ham.

I reckon if you've signed charlie adam for 4 mil you've got yourself a canny deal. He's a bit of statue in CM like, his movement is awful but he is technically gifted with a good pass and canny strike on him. Not suprised Liverpool are looking to cash in though, got themselves a decent centre midfield now. Certainly a massive upgrade on the adam/spearing combo of last season.

Naaaaaaaaa surely not?

More of an inside forward ... could be our new Bellamy .. if this twitter crap is true of course...

Never been massively fussed over Granero. Tidy footballer but think he might struggle in this league. Can see this one being a quick transfer back abroad.
-
Why would he? He's happy enough to pick his 90 grand wage packet with rumours flying around, he couldn't give a toss. Not bothered enough to force a move away for first team football showing an incredible lack of ambition but like most footballers these days, it's all about the money. Well that's one cynical way of looking at it. You could also argue that he's staying silent as he wants to join us (or just leave Liverpool), but is worried he'd burn his bridges by saying something if a move doesn't materialise. I don't know either way, but I personally think he's keeping quiet because he wants to join us. If he was that desperate to move to us, he could force this move through the press and his attitude however he's clearly happy to go about it in this exemplary manner (excellent attitude, no press involved, just head down and get on with it). If the opportunity arose where he could come back to us I’m sure he would be straight back but I don't think he's bothered in the slightest as he is still happy to sit and pick up Liverpool's money with the odd appearance here and there.
