I didn't mean other people going overboard, other peoples opinion is very much understandable. I meant i'm not myself going overboard which in my opinion would be. I want stability, i don't like managers having one bad season, one bad run, then they are gone. In the past I’ve wanted managers gone and they've been replaced with absolute shit. My main worry with Pardew going is, i'm not sure there are many managers who can handle the way Ashley runs the club. He is the biggest problem we have and will remain to be for the foreseeable future.

Based on results and issues out of his control, maybe? Based on performances, tactics, substitutions, team ethos, etc... Not a f***ing chance! We've got knocked out of Europe marginally by the finalists, we are still in a position to finish top half and this has been a disaster. I understand i'm just papering over the major cracks here however i'm just not one to go over board and start calling for his head when i haven't quickly forgotten how he massively over achieved last season leaving him in a position this year with a far greater job on his hands which nobody really expected and in truth we weren't well equipped enough to cope. If he goes and we bring in someone else fair enough, i wouldn't argue against it, but if we stick with him, i hope we go into the summer with a better plan than our previous visits in this window of opportunity.

I wouldn't begrudge him another chance to turn things around after this season. I think all in all he's done a decent job and don't feel the need to instantly sack managers once things turn sour.
-
This is the best, this is the best, this is the best bet, i've ever put on!!! We have all done a massive job here for our club. We deserve a thankful club statement really. They've put statements out for less than this.

Don't you normally win bets brett? Mackem Kernt I win just as much as the next fellow gambler

£70 on jinxing. Higher the stakes, the higher chance of the jinx. Surely?
-
£50 pound on Wigan at 5/6. 15 quid on Wigan -1 at 11/4. £5 on Kone first goal on 11/2. Howay the swans!

If we try and hold out for 0-0 after 45 mins then we will lose. Or West Ham come out with a bit more urgency second half and make it look like we are trying to hold out. Two seperate things. Not always down to the manager saying 10 men behind the ball at half time.
-
Lose this now and the Pardew haters will be out in force saying we have tried to hold on to a 0-0. Can see it already.
-
i was thinking along the lines of this. Idiots.

Get OneSize on Franco, hoy him up top. Bullet header 2-1, easy!

Nice team selection. No doubt if we play bad again it's all Pards fault.
-
I dunno, that kinda confirms it, Saylor and Simpson are likely starters, Gosling obviously is not. Simpson and Tav sharing the RB role? Are we really trying to work out our starting 11 via bibs? Times are desperate i suppose.
-
? Paraphrasing but said "pass was played after 15 minutes which Brendan Rogers said was really good pass but crowd booed it. So maybe we're better off playing away from home. I'm sure we'll get the support from our away fans" Yeah because our away form is tremendous. Players have thrived on the away support given. Stupid kernt.

Don't think we have too much choice other than to keep Pards till the end of the season then review (sack him) the situation in the summer, be it in the Premiership or god forbid the Championship.

Beyond me how some people have voted us certain to go down. What an effin farce!
-
I think going around the keeper was perhaps the best option however i wouldn't say i wouldn't like to see him do that again as it was a touch of class that was very unfortunate. Strangely he's usually a bit to wild with his finishing and not composed enough, this was the opposite.
-
Not even going build my hopes up with this anymore. I'll believe it when i see him on the pitch playing majestic football again. It feels like so long ago.

I can't see anything other than a Newcastle win on Sunday and i'd even take a chance and rest a couple in the process.
-
No way will he leave Cheick out You're right he won't but that's the best side we have available.

Newcastle have still handled this whole situation extremley badly regardless of whether this lad is any good or not. They've given us no indication to what the major problem, be it poor training sessions, attitude problem, lifestyle or homesick. At least with ranger we have been sort of kept in the loop and informed of what a grade A cunt he actually is. Xisco has never been giving any sort of chance under any manager since he arrived yet we are still kept in the dark to what is the major problem for him not to even be mentioned in the slightest.

I'm sure Pardew could say 'i've had that'
