C'mon Real!!!! Wide open again this now. Very interesting last game of the season now, providing Real don't slip up tonight. Simeone's face, cunt
-
just asking like?! Aye, Shola got a clap out of me whilst I was muttering 'I hope this is the last fucking time I need to do this'.
-
The Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed!
-
Thought Shola had a good game yesterday, peaking just in time for the World Cup. Messi vs Shola.
-
Huge 45 minutes for Simeone coming up. Once again they have me believing Real could yet still win it, cock teases, the lot of them!

Should sing an Elvis song...

Tbh, can't even remember last time i watched Argentina so i wouldn't have a clue. Guessing you've seen them a fair few times, where does Messi play? Worth loading up on him for top scorer? 9/1 just looks massive considering their group.
-
I enjoyed that, wish the bloke told him to fuck off though

Tbf to Ron he reckoned Gosling would turn out to be a very good player. So far, that looks very, very far from true. We've all done it one way or another, calling a player out as potential sh*te or genius. After seeing Carroll's limp substitute apprearance against Man City a few years ago i said the long streak of p*ss would never amount to anything. Even i can be wrong.... hard to believe. Gosling will turn out to be a limited player but a good PL midfield goalscorer. It just won't be here. Like, 10 goals a season? I'm guessing Ron probably meant half that amount...10 is decent for a striker

You want to be on a darts team with Brett?! did he actually land one in the board? My ability to bring out the best in my partner is second to none, i make you believe you can't miss whatever target you're aiming for...i made Taylor feel like he was thee Taylor of darts. Incredible stuff, really. A real life version of 'Smithy'. No surprise to me i've get posters queuing up to be my darts partner

Yeah, that's the same as me. He's very talented, fits into Bayern perfectly but he just doesn't influence enough big matches for me. If i was making a world squad he wouldn't even get on my bench let alone be in the running for the best player in the world. It's a no brainer for me having Robben over Ribery.
-
With you now...i think Aye, Sherwood would be one of the likelier Ashley appointments tbh
-
Because he was f*cking class and the most important Bayern player in the team that won the treble. Not that hard to figure out really.
-
Newcastle or Burnley...Howay, he'd divorce his wife to come here, man
-
I know I'm not a big fan of Ian myself, but that's some heel turn like. I haven't seen many Ian posts lately tbh, not sure what his view has been over this recent run. Whatever his thoughts are though, i'll understand

young and "up and coming" makes me worry about sherwood See what you mean but this is completely different to that situation to be fair. Only downside with Howe and what makes it such a gamble is that he has no knowledge of the PL or playing/working at a 'big club'. It would all be new to him and the step up so quickly might be too big of a jump so soon.

I've never hated a man more in my life. Simple as that. Ruining our football club.

In realistic Ashley terms, i would like Eddie Howe given a chance. I can't see Ashley going abroad for a manager, i can't see him getting a current top manager in England. Fancy him to go down the leagues again or hire someone he knows closley. Howe has continued to improve Bournemouth, would snap up the chance to come here, works on limited budgets already and is young and up and coming.

Sammy was unlucky to get his injury when he did. Was just starting to get a run in the side and was looking fairly promising. I've already made my feelings known for Dummet and they haven't changed in the slightest.
-
As if the manager has anything to do with it. They've got Ronaldo and Bale. End of. Disagree he has changed a few things, one of the biggest changes is Di Maria in the middle which has been a godsend for them. Bale for all his numbers until the Barca cup final hadn't really impacted a big game to any meaningful level, its a bit short sighted to say " they have Ronaldo and Bale".

3rd best player in the world

Bayern lost so much shape in that first half it was hard to tell who was playing where. Once again Ribery came up trumps for me in me never seeing him look a class act on the big stage, how he was 6/4 at one point for the Ballon D'or is beyond me. Major torunaments for France or big CL games i rarely see Ribery come to the top, give me Robben anyday of the week. Because he was f*cking class and the most important Bayern player in the team that won the treble. Not that hard to figure out really. He's not for me, Robben was running riot in the big games. Don't watch much Bundesliga so i'm guessing he struts his stuff there but everytime i see him in a big match he flatters to deceive. He works hard but i rarely think what a big of magic that was from Ribery, everytime he gets the ball, i'm never thinking something is going to happen with him. Loved the fact it was his shitness that set Real away on the counter for Ronaldo's goal as well. Just passed it straight to the Madrid player to break away. Even over the two legs it was only ever Robben where you thouht might produce something.

Weird thing for Jose is even though they are the home side and should be taking control of the match like Atleti did last week, he knows Atletico are a more dangerous side when they haven't got the ball and sit back and play with that intensity and counter. Chelsea's best way maybe to try and force the game towards the style of last week but just show a lot more intent on going forward when in possession. I do fancy Chelsea to progress to the final.
