Atletico played like they have for the past month or two, struggling for that bit creativity in breaking teams down who sit back against them. They are far better when teams come on to them. Be interesting to see how the 2nd leg pans out.

Spot on that, like. Ashley is the problem, if he was bothered, we wouldn't have even got Pardew in the first place. That was the perfect time to upgrade but he didn't and he won't upgrade this time either if he eventually does decide to sack Pardew, but i can't even see that happening.

Wow, i can't stand the bloke but that was canny funny, like

Nah, if you prefer Moyes over Martinez, you're off your nut, like. Doesn't even need a second thought. 11 days he had to prepare for that match on Sunday and his players didn't have the first clue what to do. Managed to make Rooney/Mata/Kagawa look like a laughing stock.

Punchable faces thread, be surprised if he's not already in it

I've never been a fan of his and ideally would look elsewhere but i'd still take him, like. I'd even take Pulis now tbh. I'd stoop as low as Mclaren before things get too embarrassing, fancy us to go even lower down the pecking order than those though.

f*** that. he's clearly part of that "senior players" backing pardew faction. Boot him. Immediately  Knew you would have some of that.
-
I'm all for Shola staying at the club in some aspect though, just not a playing one.
-
Thank fuck that got knocked back.

Armstrong should be getting more minutes, if any of the young ones should be. Still think it's ridic we are starting Dummett, he offers nothing, actually LOL'd when Routledge? skinned him with the flick over the head.

Got injured in the right back position...I think Is it beyond Pardew to maybe pick a right midfielder from the U21's such as Aarons, or would putting square pegs in square holes be beyond the wankbucket. Tbh not sure why i'm asking you, seeing as you've been defending that s*** for the last year. I don't think Aarons is ready personally, not that we've got anything to lose, like. Even though i'm sick of the sight of gouff on a football pitch, when he was playing well, he was always first off, now hes playing dogshit, he gets the full the match.

Eh? It seemed like that at the match, tbh. Was all a bit of a mess though with Colo's backing off. Emnes still had the ball, about 12 yards out, running straight at goal and Colo was nowhere. How can that possibly be the chance gone? Had read that earlier and expected Emnes to be running away from goal or something. Wasn't even 'ridiculous' from Tiote, he had to do something. He just got it wrong. It all happened so quick, colo backing off, went past him, someone (colo) put a tackle in which then I thought had stopped Emnes and cut out the chance but then he still seemed to have it and Tiote committed the foul. Was hard to see as it was other side of the pitch but was definitely a moment where you thought we had Emnes stopped.

It was really quite difficult to tell where the f*** anyone was playing tbh. This, aye

He's not average though. He is given his trophy collection, very lucky. Lucky? He's chosen his path. He's pretty average I agree when you compare with the best LBs, but lucky? There's a reason to why he played for Inter, Barcelona, PSG and Ajax in Europe. We'll say clever then

Ameobi on nufcTV: "We started off great but we've been hit by two late sucker punches at the end of each half, which is very frustrating." Which I presume is utter bollocks and we were appalling from start to finish? It certainly wasn't a 'great' start. Both teams started slowly then we got a goal when neither team looked like scoring. Was just a shit game all around. Even Swansea are a far cry away from the slick fluid passing side they used to be. I thought a draw would have been a fair result.

It's very hit and miss like. Some mint games but it's not great like Now we're talking!!!

I've never got into French footy, don't know why like. Just doesn't excite me like other leagues do.

We did try and show discontent but it's hard when 40,000 f***ers walk out when Swansea score so it doesn't come across loud enough. It's never going to be as loud as it is at away games though because the atmosphere at SJP is shocking. Oh right, so you waited till we were getting beat. Sorry, we should have been booing Shola when he scored. It's a bit easier to type 'ffs Shola' on a forum when he scores than it is not to cheer a goal in a stadium and slag them off instead. Tbh though, I wanted us to win today, I did sigh when the ref gave a pen but soon as the ball hit the top corner, fans who remained vented their feelings and rightly so. Didn't come across too loud because of the numbers but was loud enough for players/coaching staff to hear it. Think Pardew had already left his seat before the pen incident, so he probably avoided hearing anything.

Might tune just to hear this For some reason it's gone off man. Annoying. I thought it was a good touch eve though I couldn't understand most of it Aye seems it, not sure it would work in footy with all the disrespect towards refs though. Imagine the comments picked up. I mean even refs this season have been accused of disrespecting the players
