  1. I'm assuming those other ones are Cup games? Aye, CL, FA, LC and internationals.
  2. Dzeko 12 assists Giroud 8 assists Although Giroud has 7 in the PL to Dzeko's 1...
  3. pretty even. Which was basically my point. I think they are about level as players It's not pretty even. By those rates he would have scored 30/31 goals in 48 games, compared to Giroud's 23 in 48. Quite a difference in my opinion. ST trying to pull off a Pardew
  4. Giroud started 48 games this season, scored 23 goals. Dzeko started 44 games this season, scored 28 goals. That's on ESPN on all games this season including international level.
  5. I'd imagine Dzeko would have a better goalscoring record goals per starts ratio. I just think Dzeko has better attributes in most parts of his game to Giroud. I like Giroud as well but just much prefer Dzeko.
  6. He's the ultimate flat track bully though, only scores against the poor teams. Just has a look at his record, only scored against Man Utd who you'd class as a big team Giroud has the same sort of criticism though. Ba hardly figures at all for Chelsea with not much competition. If i had a choice be a no brainer for Dzeko, he's definitely got more to his game than just being a flat track bully.
  7. Dzeko is easily the best of those three, probably doesn't get the credit he should deserve. In and out of the City side all the time but always seems to be popping up with goals, which isn't easy for a striker who rarely has had a consistent run in the side.
  8. Close on the stats but it looked all so comfortable for Stoke in the second half. They obviously fluked a goal although i'm still convinced it was shambolic keeping by Krul. We had what seemed the most blatant pen turned down then pretty much 10 men for last 20 mins or so but we could have played another 90 minutes and still not scored, got the the zero points we most rightly deserved. Swansea have yet to win away from home under Monk, he’ll be rubbing his hands together all the way from Wales to Newcastle in anticipation for his first 3 away points.
  9. Aye we were tragic. Colo was right when he said the performance matched Southampton/Man Utd even if the scoreline didn't. And yet Pardew said we controlled the game, amazing he's still trying to the wool over peoples eyes. Well i thought we had the majority of possession then my mate thought Stoke did. Either way, both sides were shite just second half Stoke knew they could just do anything they wanted and still win. They opted to sit back and coast the ride of us trying to conjure up some sort of attacking threat, we were hardly controlling the tempo, more gifted it.

  11. I was disappointed at how bad Stoke were. In the run up to the game i heard Hughes had them playing good football, was at least expecting that. They were shite as well, absolute borefest the whole game.

'Yet Ben Arfa could well quit if Pardew stays next season'
  13. I was thinking this last night when watching the game. If we had him in our side, he'd be like De Jong
  14. I wouldn't mind if they still slagged him off after his goal, but they change and praise him. Then next week they'll get beat and it's his fault again because they should have signed Suarez or something like that. Their fans are fucking dreadful, hate them. Wenger has had far too much criticism off them in recent times.
  15. I think the amount of stick Giroud gets from Arsenal fans, makes me like him more when he shuts them up. Twitter last night was filled with Giroud shite from Arsenal fans then he pops up with that goal and suddenly they are saying they always knew he's capable of that. He's got a lot of qualities to his game and is a good centre forward, think he'd benefit if he had someone playing alongside him rather than doing all the chasing up top on his own.
  16. 2.26 is even better in reponse to that post.. 'I could not agree with you more'
  17. Cabaye was the one who asked to go off though. The two other subs were baffling but Cabaye for Bigi was the only sensible option to make at that present moment as he had already f***ed up with Perch for Marv so soon. Should have been Perch for Cabaye but he panicked soon as Reading got a foot hold back in the game and hauled off Marv. Well yeah, that's the point though. Cabaye wasn't fully fit so he was an idiot for painting himself into a corner and taking off Marveaux, who although "not tracking back" was playing well. The formation switches as well man. It was almost like an example of what not to do as a football manager. I was f***ing livid. Same, the cabaye sub nearly tipped me over the edge. Nearly broke my foot kicking the seat That's only reason i remember Cabaye saying he asked to come off as i thought well that rant and broken foot was pointless
  18. Well that's just you not managing the expectation, 24 they've got a Euro and another World Cup in the coming years where it will be best to judge. Not after one good season in the PL and say they've now been 'found out' if they don't perform this summer, ludicrous to think that. They are still on a learning curve themselves.

  20. Cabaye went off injured, other two were still nightmare subs though. Ahh, thats what we were told. Cabaye subsequently said a few days after he was fine and didn't have an injury. “I asked to come off because my groin became tight. I didn’t want to take any risks on my first start for so long. I have come back much earlier than was planned. The pitch was very heavy. I think it was the right decision for me. “The fans were very angry but they did not realise I needed to come off. They should not blame the manager for that. It was my decision. I was also feeling tired. You cannot expect a player to be 100% in my situation. I was not fit enough to finish the game. That was why I came off. “It is unfair to blame the manager when it was me who made the decision. I was afraid about my groin. I have come back from surgery and did not want to get pain again. I am not worried now because I came off. I think I will be all right.” Really

  22. What's Henderson got to lose in the summer? A WC winners medal? Few people expect us to get out of the group, let alone challenge to win it. Shaw/Henderson/Barkley/Sturridge/Sterling etc will all have plenty of time to prove their worth and a bad summer won't lose them anything in the long run. Unless you're literally expecting them to set England or the tournament alight in the summer, i doubt you'll be too disappointed if you've managed your expectations correctly.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

With a good manager he would be great again. Martinez would definitely get the best out of him. Imagine Pardew trying to develop a Barca 'wonderkid'
