What was shaming to Sir Bobby was the abuse he got at the Wolves game by the "fans". On a roll slagging off our fans arent you..... Ive got wise, Hes a Mackem in Disguise. Yawn. At the Wolves game people were going nuts. Bobby was a "senile old c**t" etc etc. My memory is pretty good ..... obviously yours isn't. I dont remember that like, i remember the stadium emptying rather quickly. But i dont remember abuse. I don't remember chants of abuse, more random outbursts being yelled at him like you get at most games when things turn sour. Then obviously moaning amongst yourselves on way out about how he's gone senile and needs sacked.

Was that the one that barely made the first row? Most pathetic throw i've ever seen, how can you throw a boot from 6 yards away and nearly miss the whole stand

Doesn't count on here because he's one of the best managers in the world, it happened in another country and it was assault on a coach and not a player. Brett acting as if these things aren't factors. Well at least you didn't bold the first part which people reckons makes a difference, if you're shit, the headbutt is worth sacking, if you're world class, it's not sack worthy For the other two, of course they are factors however there's not a zero game ban to a sacking here between the two incidents, or even at least a 10 plus stadium ban.

Ince just got lucky the number 5 was pulled out the hat. Pardew might strike lucky yet, there's no thought process or debate taking place with these muppets.

I'll give you that one, ST

Probably thinking 'why didn't I just take a tumble when he shoved me'. Well that's what I would be thinking anyways
-
When does it start again? Just so I can put it in the diary. f***ing hell, what is this, you and Brett competing for night of the dumbass. Fancy trying to steal my award, Ian

Liverpool stuck by Suarez through difficult times and it's good to see the club sticking by Pardew. That doesn't mean to say they are agreeing with their actions. The FA will pluck up a figure then depending how high they go, it will be in Newcastle's ball court to accept it or appeal. I think anything above 10 games will be harsh but 8-10 would be about right for what he has done. Although i'm still in the firm belief Meyler should have seen red as well since it was him who first raised his hands with shove.

Well doubling the ban is a bit of a ramp upwards.
-
Think they will expect higher standards from a manager and therefore be more severe with the punishment. Well Ince only got 5 games recently, so anything more than double would be taking the piss slightly. If it's more than 10 i'd be looking to appeal even if it's not something you really want to be appealing.
-
Think the Suarez bite and Di Canio ref push got around 10 games each. Pardew could find himself around that sort of mark.
-
8-10 months i think. well theres a starting point then. As if, man

8-10 months i think.

Really hard to predict what the FA will do here as they such clueless cunts.
-
moronicle more like That's a more reasonable interpretation of a poll than ours. If it was a different manager who done it that was liked on here, can't help but feel there's no way the results would be in favour for the manager to get sacked for that headbutt.

@paddypower: One newspaper reporting that Alan Pardew's moment of madness could cost him a shot at the England job, well that, and his managerial record.
-
Well at least someone in the spotlight can see it for what it is, unlike most pundits on TV.

Superb post that, bang on
-
Unreal someone has said he could hardly miss

I'd struggle to see Carver last Pardew's lengthy ban without a touchline incident himself
-
Media wanted Suarez's head on a chopping board as well, i think that was more expected with him given his reputation. At least Liverpool club/fans stuck by their man during the difficult time. I'm fairly surprised the media have painted Pardew in a similar light, think it's just the sheer surprise of it all for a manager to headbutt a player, unheard of. More worried about the unpredictable nature of the FA, they love random figures without much thought process.

Could have been Steve Bruce on one of our players though and i wouldn't be calling for him to be sacked or a half a season ban though. I think 8 games max would be fair.
