Aye. Got young player of the year and was only there for the second half of the season
-
im wondering if the board have acted with haste, cos if he gets a half a season stadium ban (deserved imo) they will wish they had sacked him. Wow 19 matches! Was a proper shit soft headbutt aswell, hardly ko'd the mackem bastard. Agree with Hans, think 8 games would be acceptable but if they push into double figures they are on a bit of an overkill.

Where am i saying it's fine? I'm saying a lengthy ban would be acceptable and fair. I think sack him and calling him a monster on the touchline is over the top and Meyler doesn't deserve credit in the situation. I think sacking him and calling him a monster on the touchline is lenient. I know it upsets you when people call daddy names though. Fair enough. Everyone will see it differently. Jose didn't even get a single game ban for his actions, so if Pardew gets around 8 games, i think that should be enough. I'd have this opinion even if it was any other manager. Media absolutely love tearing into us and i think it's sad our fans are backing them up, nevermind saying they have been 'lenient'.

 He's been formally warned by his employer and his own union have pretty much wiped their hands of him. But aye, it's just the media blowing a manager headbutting a player out of proportion. I like how Kinnear is universally hated for being a complete cretin, yet he's never done anything even remotely cockish as what f***ing Pardew has done, who can literally nut a player and still have people be like "ahh it was f*** all man, it's not like he floored the lad or out". Never said it was fuck all. When you read a couple of articles and they are calling him a monster/animal on the touchline, just find it pathetic. Then they paint Meyler in great light how he didn't make a meal of it even though it was him that provoked it all flaring up and Pardew has just been a complete idiot to rise to it. Just took the shine off not only his excellent tactics during the win but also the players outstanding performance, which is a shame. He’ll get a canny ban but that won’t be enough to appease the media who will look to try for capital punishment no doubt. Media friendly Jose who pokes another coach in the eye from behind had his ban lifted and went unpunished yet hardly anything was made of that one.

Took me 13 matches to grab my first win. Even have to thank Steven Taylor for that as well for his late winner agaisnt Sheff Utd.

I really doubt that many of the 141 would say that if it was a manager that wasnt such a w***** though. I voted no as he deserves the sack but not for this, how many chose yes as they want him gone anyway? If it was a vote for 'sack for this' 'sack for everything else' 'no' you would see a better split imo Yeah suppose that's true. Just thought it was meant for this incident alone.

141 are for the sack for this headbutt? Fucking hell, here I am thinking it was just the media blowing it out of proportion. He’ll be hit with a lengthy ban and that should be the end of the matter.

I doubted he could put a performance like that played in a 2 man mid with Tiote but he was by far and away the best player on the pitch on Saturday. When he's in that kind of form, he's a pleasure to watch. His composure on the ball is just sublime and up with the best we've had. So pleased for him when he popped up with his goal

I'll admit, I thought hull might nick the game. It was the way people went out when I fancied a good match up and us to play good football, like it was alien to them. Away from home we've been far better yet people wouldn't accept it and we were going 10 men behind the ball. Now the classic 'helped by hull being utterly shit', a team prior to the match we were praising up along with their manager.
-
Only raging for the shite sprouted on here. By Wednesday the forum will be saying how shit we are and go to Fulham with ten men behind the ball. Such short memories. Anyways it's a superb win, great performance and injected some much needed life and belief into our push for Europe, even if we are rank outsiders (thanks to Ashley).

calm down bretty! You can fuck as well Completely bossed the game, took control of it and kicked on. Credit to Krul, superb double save then we scored. Game changing moment but he also let Hull back in it. Thankfully our class still took it's toll and we never dropped our heads. Anita is just superb btw. If you think otherwise, you're also a prick.
-
I wonder if we are going to put 10 men behind the ball and players not give a shit anymore, silly pricks!
-
Might just take the next turn off and do a U turn back up the A1. Fucking Steven Taylor, can't be arsed with this shit!
-
Same Hence praise him on forums/social media to spread word around until chinese whipsers reach Hodgson's ear stating Jordon Henderson is world class and would walk into Spain's team!
-
Hull are 7/5, Newcastle are 21/10, they are favourites Not by a wide margin but they are still the faves for the match up? Well we haven't beaten them in the last 5 attempts or so. They are worthy faves imo. Just sounds rank because it's Hull

I said Sherwood would turn him around once it was clear he was back in the side. People said wait till the transfer window is closed and if he can still produce then...suppose we'll have to wait till the summer transfer window is over now since it's faily clearly he's still in brilliant form all these months later, he should be bored of football by now apparently.

Are you not on my Adebayor and Henderson bandwagon yet? Get on board before it get's too full. More and more people seem to jumping on by the week.
-
He already does. He's called... Brett.
-
Yeah but it makes it a bad example to compare with Hendersons stats when the only reason his are higher are due to him taking them for the same team. No no think you mistook that, wasn't comparing their stats. I think both have been excellent and would start them, henderson's stats are decent but he offers so much more than goals/assists to the Liverpool side. I would try him in the upcoming friendly to see if he and Gerrard can form a similar partnership.
