Even to my eye, i thought his performance suggested we could give him another shot there. Not sure what the stats produced but i thought he did alright. Going forward yes, defensively it was absymal and if you're playing as a DM that's a major part of job. Defensively he's abysmal anywhere you play him, i just can't help but still really like him I'd still have him on my team sheet every week. Still young and learning the game.

They're playing Arsenal away...just checking your feelings know that?

He's rarely been used in that deep role which i've found strange. When he arrived i expected a box to box player, we've been shown an attacking midfielder and a winger. He's had a brilliant games in the two positions but been equally as shit on occasions as well. We need to find his position and just stick with it although even if this happens i can see the brilliant/shit performances still being just as erratic. It does seem he's that type of player who you never know what you’re going to get with him. Commitment and work rate will always be telling but his standard of football during the match will be a mystery.

Fucking hell, talk about nit picking!

Same. Six points surrendered against these c***s, man. Would have probably effectively relegated them had we won too. Second time in successive seasons we'll have kept them up IMO. Pardew truly deserves to be the toast of Wearside. Give them 6 points and beat the teams around them when they were begging us to win like Palace and W.Ham. We really have gave them a massive aid this season.

Have we had a manager who never loved him? He must be Drogba like in training. Keegan didn't seem to rate him at all. Aye he was one, Keegan was unfortunate Shola failed a medical elsewhere. He wasn't getting rid of Shola that easily. Good effort though.

Get Alnwick in goal, fuck Elliot.

If he was watching the game, it wasn't lucky, you'd be hammering the cash out button given the way things were going. If he's just looked at score/time and cashed out then yeah, lucky cunt

Rank post that, Dave.

Just can't have any sympathy for Jose. That Oscar for Mikel sub which he loves is fucking disgusting. Yes they haven't conceded for a fair while but the standard of players they have in their squad they should be killing teams off a lot quicker with relative ease, with that Oscar/Mikel sub, just inviting pressure on to themselves, horrible to see.

The Torquay tip, love this thread I never fucking learn

I'm sure he'll look back on that with great fondness. League Cup Semi Final on his CV. What about the FA Cup final he got too then? Or the quaters last season, and the semis before that? s*** in the cups Blew his champions league chance then went out in first round of Europa? Then repeatedly failed in the Europa league once in it. Quarters-Semi's, doesn't make a difference from second/third round in hindsight, still got f*** all for your efforts. Just like Pardew and his quarters last year, we never made the final so it doesn't really care for much. It makes a massive difference. You don't look like a s*** manager for a start. Not for me, is Moyes thinking he achieved something by a league cup semi final? Definitley not. It's as much good as getting beat off Man City in the fourth round.

You and i don't know which players he wants. We just see Tomkins and Bent linked in paper then easy to say they are Pardew's because they aren't from France. Can’t really judge who he has and hasn’t signed. One I do know was he wanted Obertan as Beardsley mentioned it in a talk in, so saying this maybe you could be right on that point… What i do think however is that Moyes is certainly a better manager than Pardew but he wouldn't make us much better. Style of football would be similar, we wouldn't move any higher in the league, the cups would still be rotten and we'd still have Ashley laughing at us.
-
Have you seen the f***ing utter w***-stain who's in charge of us now ffs? Moyes played boring football with Everton, done fuck all in cups and has turned Man Utd in to a laughing stock yet you would cheese grate your own testicle to have him, rather you than me.
-
I wouldn't swap him for Pardew, like. Don't think it's that much of an upgrade to make a difference to get us higher than 8th

Krul Santon Willo MYM Haidara Anita Sissoko Ben Arfa Marv Sammy De Jong That's side i'd like to see. Obviously be nowhere near it like but nevermind.

Looks ok as a player. Don't think he'll ever be a success but clearly has some footballing ability and it's always refreshing to see someone that can hold up a ball and do something with it unlike Shola. Let's refrain from judging him, but he'll never be a success.
