He certainly shouldn’t be the Isak alternative. But I don’t think Jackson and Wissa works so it’s one or the other and both are overpriced significantly
-
I think Jackson for £40m is a good deal, anything over and we’re getting done
-
Disagree personally, think there’s a lot to work with
-
My only concern is the cost involved. They’ll have us over a barrel and I fucking despise them
-
Aye, he’ll flop. Convinced of it. Might have his moments and look amazing in spells but overall will be a bust
-
This man, single handedly keeping us above water. While Isak stabs everyone’s life jackets and the board sip champagne on the shore with caviar dip to go alongside their truffle croquettes
-
Thanks for the update, useful insights from someone who knows him better than anyone else on here
-
Mateta’s class, but I wouldn’t go near dealing with Paalce unless it was release clauses we were dealing with
-
We can definitely afford him. He’ll cost less in wages and in transfer fees than Sesko, significantly less I’d imagine
-
Everyone’s taken our eyes out this window, literally every person we’ve dealt with has fucked us one way or another. How fucking naive are we
-
But @Newcastle Fan our squad was torn to shreds in our last European season and we had a deeper squad then than we do now. There will be more games this time and other teams in the league have massively strengthened. If we were to get an injury to Tonali, Bruno, Tino, Hall then we’d be completely and utterly fucked. That’s not even accounting for the fact we potentially don’t have a single striker in the squad with Isak wanting out and Osula not being a striker yet. The amount of signings we need in order to cope with the season ahead is huge and that’s not even thinking about the quality of them
-
McAtee?
-
Lautaro - huge no Thuram - simple no Toney - dunno, probably not a bad idea actually if he wanted to come Guirhassy - no CRonaldo - biggest no of the lot
-
Don’t worry, they’ll be bending over again any day now when the next request comes from the cartel
-
She understands football a hell of a lot better than her counterparts did and do
-
PSG are happy to sell Ramos. It’s just whether someone else takes him over us
-
I’d take any signings even if it meant waiting until the end of the window now. It’s terrifying the position we’re in a week and a half from the start of the season
-
Fjortoft looks a nailed on nonce. I imagine he’s staying active online in a bid to keep the wolves from the door
-
Aye, I’ll take the tiny scraps of schadenfreude where I can get them
