I’m not going to pick Eddie’s words apart when we don’t know any of the details behind the scene. My instinct is that I don’t believe it’s to do with reneging on a contract. I think it’s more to do with the fact that Isak is out and is aggressively telling everyone associated with the club that he’s out and that he’ll never play for us again. Eddie could easily be forcing Isak’s hand here with his comments. We know how clever he is at saying one thing to one audience and another to a different audience without explicitly lying to either.
