I think he is in terms of ability. I don’t think he is in terms of what he’s shown for us so far, especially in that first season. However, I think with time he’ll show himself to be a top ten CM. I think he has everything in all honesty

Think the issue is not only our subjective ratings of players is different but also our interpretations of the rankings are different as well. There’s a world of difference between a World Class player in the Messi ranks (no one comes remotely close) and someone who is one of the ten best in their position worldwide. For me, I’d consider world class as a top ten player in their position consistently

I think Joelinton is overall a B. I think for us he’s probably more often a C nowadays because of our shift to being less “intensity is our identity”. I think for a lot of clubs he’d be a B if they found the right way to use him
