Eurgh, disgusting

I wonder how mad Garnacho’s going to look in later life. Imagine he’s got it in him to play the Joker in a future Batman reboot
-
Watching Bruno Fernandes cry is about all I’ve got left to hope for for this season

You been on the glue this evening Cap?

I’m trying to think of a scenario where we can win this game and the only possibility is they get an early red card. Whatever side they put out will be class, they’re at home and their confidence is building. Haaland’s just scored five and we have the worst chances against us conceded by a massive margin in the league in 2024. So fucking gutted about this draw

Fuck this season into the sun

Utter fucking joke

Fuck this already

Seaman always comes across like such a good lad

A chancer? She’s clearly not a chancer, she’s been involved in some huge deals, not least getting this sale completed. She’s clearly an extremely successful businessperson, just not someone who is a billionaire

£6 last season? Imagine you’re looking at something like this for £6 https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/willy-wonka-experience-glasgow-chocolate-b2503765.html

Would never slag any player off on social media, coward’s trick. He should never have had to play the minutes he’s done this season. It’s not his fault or anyone else’s really. He’s a really likeable lad and I don’t have an issue with him being a squad player other than the fact that he generally looks even poorer when he’s not had game time. Would be happy to see him play in cup games, Europa and get minutes as a sub in the league but starting him this much is just not helping him or us sadly
-
I agree, certainly until well into the second half of next season. As frustrating as this season has been there are still very few issues you can square back to Eddie. The only thing that I remain completely baffled by is the lack of minutes for Tino. Almost everything else can be excused based on injuries and a depleted squad

Gordon is excellent at cutting inside with the ball and always beats his man or wins the foul. Down the line it’s different. Barnes is all about receiving the ball in the final 25 yards, cutting in and striking at goal. His game is fairly limited but extremely effective when used properly
-
It wasn’t disgraceful by any means. The lads were trying but nothing was coming off and we looked massively disjointed and lacking any sense of what to do with the ball until the last twenty mins of normal time. It’s very hard to pick apart what’s going wrong at the moment. I think things will improve now that we can rotate and players can rest but I think we’ll remain inconsistent until the end of the season
-
It’s very clear how much quality he has and the footballer he’s going to be. No one other than Bruno receives the ball as well as him and he reads the game well when he has the ball. However, as others have said, physically he’s not there yet and he doesn’t read what runs to make. Defensively, is the weakest part of his game and the area where we’re suffering the most in midfield. Not sure what the answer is as I really like him but a loan next season is probably the right call
-
They also beat Chelsea and Spurs away from home in February and have been looking like a quality side in possession
-
Wolves are quality now. I don’t think it’ll be turgid. More likely to be a fast paced game with them taking the game to us. Think it’ll suit us but we’ll almost certainly concede at least one
-
The competition likely gets extremely difficult from now on. On our form earlier in the season and last season I’d go into any match thinking we could win. I do think we’ll be much improved for the quarter final but we need a favourable draw to make the semis. Liverpool, Man City, Man U and Chelsea would all beat us if we were away. If we were at home to those sides I think we’d lose against Liverpool and Man City. Not sure about the other two
-
I love the directness of Tonali’s reason “gambling addict”. Entirely accurate but still so weird to think that’s why he’s out for ten months
-
Hard to say anything remotely positive after that. There are a lot of things you can’t control but he could cut out his flopping tomorrow and it would be an instant improvement. You cannot be laying on the ground after someone tackles you by winning the ball
-
Agreed on the position, I like him and we need a player who can score from 20 yards but we needed that player on our right. I still think he’ll be overall a good signing for us but there were some priority signings we needed before him
-
Agreed, the long ball hoofs can’t have been what we practiced. I just don’t know what that performance was tonight on the ball. Hopefully they can start making improvements in training now that we’ve actually got a squad to play with
