Rod coming out swinging, you love to see it. Unfortunately it’s a bit early in the day for Rod to be leathered. Come back this evening and show Froggy what you’re all about Rod

Think the England job would suit Potter pretty well actually. Certainly wouldn’t suit Howe
-
They’ll clearly give everyone a game. The issue as has already been mentioned is what happens if they go on a run of three-four bad results. They’re playing with huge confidence which works well with their high risk strategy of a high line. However, if confidence dropped it could easily lead to some drubbings or clangers. I personally think they’ll finish top six but probably no higher than sixth

My eldest is five and I still haven’t wanted to bring her to St. James’ as her concentration is shocking. She’d lose interest after a minute. All kids are different but I don’t know many two year olds that would get much from the match I don’t think, certainly not be able to get through the whole thing

Absolutely bottom of the barrel losers in life. Imagine the highlight of your life being to beat up a stranger

Would be absolutely raging if that was my team that had lost that game. The contact was so minimal on both occasions. Why they chose to make one a clear and obvious error and the other not makes no sense to me. The first one they clearly didn’t think was a pen but couldn’t overturn because it wasn’t clear and obvious enough. However, they should have applied the same logic for the second one
-
There’s nowhere near enough contact for him to go down like that
-
Shocking decision from the ref on this pen, has to get overturned
-
Surprisingly fast paced game this
-
Disagree actually, I think he has good vision and understanding of the game and he’s a decent passer. I agree that he is inconsistent and hasn’t achieved as much as he should have but he’s got a relatively well rounded game, just a bit low impact too often
-
Rank defending that
-
Agree in fairness, they’ve been a very different side this season. If it was this season’s Fulham against last season’s Wolves it would be an awful game most likely
-
Fulham - Wolves A feast for the eyes tonight

Isak’s that player and in fairness to Gordon (who I rated when he broke through at Everton) he’s developed his technical ability further with us and is very good at finding space by coming inside. We need technical ability on the right and we need either a 10 or someone who has the flexibility to play that role at times during games even if they occupy other spaces on the pitch too
-
Howay Rafa, would be class for us to come up against Celta Vigo one day in Europe or another side if he moves on. Top man
-
Depends what you mean by technical ability. I always refer to it as close control, shielding the ball under pressure etc. Rather than weight of pass and general passing ability. I’d say that his close control is good, hard to judge how good he is at being pressed hard and under pressure with the ball as I never saw him being hounded like he would be in the premier league. Basically, I’d sum him up as a currently lesser version of Isak, who can play wide or come deeper. Don’t see him as a target man or an out and out striker but he’s still young so who knows
-
He’s very talented in fairness, very similar to Isak in my opinion but not at his level. He can drift wide but I think he goes wide right rather than left. He’s a very good dribbler with trickery and deceives defenders with his body shape like Isak. Seen only a handful of minutes from him since he went to PSG though so difficult to say what type of player he’ll develop into based on him being so young and not having had any minutes really for over a year

Varane’s crop has been intimidating Ten Hag for too long now
-
Was it because they didn’t have a monitor set up? Think they were saying they were the only ones without one until halfway through. Can imagine it was hard to pick out from distance even though it was the most blatant Lascelles header ever if you had any sight line to it
-
Imagine the season Man U would be having if they had a decent keeper. Their footballing style is absolutely shocking to watch. Will be interesting to see them when they get their fit players back. Not expecting their style to improve at all
-
Was our most important summer signing by a distance, both for the short term and long term. he’s pretty much faultless defensively and going forward he offers something completely different from Trippier and the rest of our defence (some similarities to Schar going forward in style though not area of the pitch). He’s probably the player that most excites me in terms of what he’ll contribute to us in the next few years, alongside Isak
-
Is there an unspoken acceptance or expectation that there won’t be another round of balloting for season tickets in the summer? There wasn’t anything this past summer was there. Is the circa 35,000 proportionally representative of the season ticket: open ticket numbers for most teams?

Perhaps, their huge contract offers to players is a major risk though. Offering 8-year contracts on massive wages basically relies on those players being a hit or Saudi Arabia fronting up major money for them. As it stands, no one is going to pay anywhere near close to the value they paid for Cucurella, Caicedo, Mudryk amongst others. If they have a few seasons out of Europe I think they’ll capitulate
