Don’t normally go out of my way to praise Sean as he does a lot of the ugly stuff that isn’t necessarily spectacular but his defensive work off the ball is massive for us. I’d love it if he didn’t dwell so long on the ball and show more quality going forward but he empties the tank every single game and cuts out a lot of attacks before they even develop

A loose ball or two but on the whole a really good half of running down the left side, drove at them multiple times and got us up the pitch and into good positions. He’s so good at dribbling without using any trickery, just pace and little touches

Daka had a few dangerous moments where they caught us with a high line but they’ve barely been able to put any passing together to hurt us. We’re rock solid if teams try to play us through the middle as players like Almiron, big Jow, Bruno and Longstaff chase back and smother everything
