Keeper didn’t know what to do there, got completely caught in no man’s land
-
Howay Morocco, put them in the hurt locker
-
Can’t really see past Messi and Mbappe, whoever wins the final probably gets it if France win tonight. Alvarez and Griezemann are next in line
-
Hadn’t paid much attention to Alexis at Brighton but based on his World Cup performances I imagine he’s going to be vying with our Bruno over the next few years as one of the best three midfielders in the league

Interesting, wonder what’s going on for him. Shame that his career has fallen apart

Disgusting assist
-
Ooof, would have been an amazing goal
-
Wew, what a goal

Outrageous pen

No choice but to give that really

Why does de Paul ever try and thread balls through? They always go to no one
-
Been twenty minutes of build up play in the middle of the park, Argentina are completely losing the midfield battle and the game’s been largely shite so far

TBG doesn’t joke around so it’s likely deadly serious

He’s a great player and will be one of the best defenders in the league for years to come
-
An absolute classic of the genre

Bruce has crippled that West Brom team, they’re genuine contenders to go down. When you consider where they were when he took over and West Brom’s track record of being the ultimate yo-yo team it’s a huge indictment of the fiend
-
Are people really making out like he’s shit though? I thought everyone is pretty much in agreement that he’s one of the top five footballers to ever play the game even if they dislike him
-
He had great pace for sure and could beat a man with pace but I wouldn’t ever say he was a great dribbler. His stepovers etc was mostly ornate and the vast majority of the time didn’t buy him much, it was all down to his pace and strength. His actual technical dribbling ability is nowhere near the level of many contemporaries
-
Aye, I’ve got enormous respect for him as a player. When he was reaching his peak in his last year at Man U and his years at Real, he was an outstanding force, who had the ability to win games through both his ability and his will. He’s probably the best header of a ball that I can think of and his ego has dragged titles to his teams at times that just wouldn’t have happened with a less aggressive player. However, I’ve always disliked him as an individual and it’ll always annoy me how commentators wax lyrical about his free kicks and, not so much nowadays, but his dribbling. He was never an elite dribbler but people made out like he was out of this world. What makes him amazing is his ego, his aerial ability and his striking off both feet. None of that compensates for the fact that he’s clearly an extremely unlikeable narcissist

Massive shame for Broja if he’s picked up a serious injury but a good excuse for Boehly to spunk another £300m in January
-
Went for the Matt Hancock tears option, clever move. Look forward to seeing what failure efforts he makes to rehabilitate his image as his career finally comes to an end in the next two years

Was thinking about Willock before, he really just needs to add consistency to his game. If he does, he’ll become an England player but most likely squad than ever first team
