  1. Nah, I like him. I just think he needs a lot of work and isn’t an easy player to develop and coach
  2. Aye, no chance on the second paragraph. Howe will have had a lot of power in this decision. However, I’m happy for it to be put at PIF’s door in the press. Eddie doesn’t need any more shit to deal with and PIF need some heat for countless poor decisions they’ve made
  3. Looking forward to selling Ashby to be honest, hate seeing players loaned out season after season. Shit for them, pointless for us

Let’s hope he performs like you expect him to

Don’t particularly want to get drawn into a regulation chat but if we sell to Saudi doesn’t it mean we can’t use any of that money to go towards our books for Uefa's financial regulations? So it could fuck our European financial situation? Also, if we buy for £55m and sell for £30m two years later, what is the book loss / profit from our own PSR regulations?

Buying this lad for £20m more than he’s worth or selling Isak for £20m under what he’s worth. It’s hard to work out which one is worse business. I’m going with the Wissa one given how awful our negotiation position was on Isak

    Absolutely mental this transfer like
  8. Would be one of the strangest transfers ever if permanent. If it’s a loan then it’s only slightly less odd
  9. This is a fair comment actually. The rules essentially promote being a little bitch to cartel clubs now. Football’s just mirroring society more and more as @Sima said in an earlier post. Capitalism’s end goal naturally makes fewer and fewer people incredibly rich and successful. The only way it achieves this is by using every available means to screw over anyone outside of that most rich and powerful group. Liverpool and the other cartel clubs have successfully turned football into the horror show that we see before us in governments across the world
  10. I don’t think we’re in for Kolo Muani, if we’d wanted him he’d be here now. Thankfully we’re not in for him
  11. Ekitike and Isak won’t be playing a lot of minutes together. It’ll start out as Isak, Ekitike and Salah to try and appease them all but it will be imbalanced and then Ekitike will be dropped and there’ll be a lot of issues behind the scenes. Ekitike and Isak will not work together for them with Salah
  12. Howay man Smal, get this cunt off our board
  13. Looking forward to us massively overpaying after we’ve just sold massively under value. Well done lads
  14. Pleased to hear that. Hope he plays with a bit of fire this season, to try and show people that they’ve got him wrong and he can play at this level. We know he can, just not in the team we are nowadays. He is well suited for Leeds and if you can get past the most frustrating aspect of his game - not being able to release a football under pressure or shield a ball effectively - then as a fan you can appreciate other elements, especially when he’s tearing about the pitch
