  1. We can not let them get away with this. Everyone with a twitter account should let them know the truth. Lee Ryder influential? As if is there is anyone with an IQ over 75 who doesnt hate this absolute cretin of a man. So absurd. He knows absolutely nothing. Off to twitter!
  2. Up until two months ago I though he was saying "Carlton Cole". First time I saw it was midway through a West Ham game. Only time it made sense to me.
  3. Todays match against Wigan will be on live in the `Famous Three Kings`right next to West Kensington Tube Station. I`ll be there proudly wearing my Pardy Time t-shirt!
  4. Yeah, don`t get me wrong. I`m not actually against us signing him but it`s not exactly wankworthy.
  5. I obviously believe Pieters would be better than Ryan Taylor but I watch PSV regularly and he really isn't that good. IMO he does not offer much going forward and although he is sound enough defensively to cope well with wingers in the Eredivisie he is a bit slow which might be a problem in the Premiership. He is quite strong however and would be an upgrade over Ryan Taylor on defensive set-pieces and when defending crosses. People really shouldn't read too much into him being first choice at left back for Holland, there's not many decent ones to choose from.
  6. Well, the reporter from nufc.co.uk is not very likely say anything negative about any of the NUFC players though. I`d say every professional goalkeeper in the world would be disappointed when letting in a lob from 30 yards out. It should not happen
  7. What worries me about this game is that Kean is under immense pressure and for that reason he'll probably go with a strong starting 11 knowing that every defeat brings him closer to the edge. With Tiote out and Cabaye likely to be rested we are likely to struggle in center midfield where most games are won really. Hopefully the replacements have a good game allowing Marveaux and Ben Arfa to be creative. Lovenkrands goal rate is impressive but he shouldn't be anywhere near our starting eleven in any competition. Would also like to see Santon get a start. If Smith starts we will lose. Simple as.
  8. Shane Ferguson is born in Derry though isnt he? The people I know from Derry describe it as an Irish town in Northern Ireland. Big majority of catholics. Not really surprised a Derry boy would chose to play for the Republic of Ireland as he probably consider himself to be more Irish than British.

I've been giving that Kaytee Ser some going over. How did yous find his myspace? Link please
  10. No problem Sirs. As for Dummett, yeah he looked like a solid left back with decent pace and strength. Not the most skilled player in the world from what I saw but good probably do a decent job as backup at least.
  11. Right, at work now so a good time to share some thoughts about last nights match. Starting Lineup 4-4-2( from the left): Soderberg, Dummet, Henderson, Perch, McDermott, Moyo, Barton ©, Cabaye, Routledge, Ranger, Xisco. Soderberg: Not at fault for any of their goals, erratic kicking, made one decent save in the second half. Perch: Gave them a goal. Completely outplayed by their number 9( reasonably strong and pacey striker). Replaced by Richardson at half time who looked half decent(football wise that is) Dummett: Played a decent game. Tried to get forward a bit in the first half linking up reasonably well with Moyo on the left side. Cabaye: Looked pretty awful tbh. At fault for their first goal with a horrible attempt at a cross in his own half. Looked grumpy and made a few heavy challenges. Replaced by Amebobi after about 60 minutes. Ameobi: Involved in almost everything after he came on. Played down the right wing. Tried a couple of shots and after seeing them I now completely understand the pitch invasion after he scored against Darlo as it will most likely never happen again. Still made a good impression, good on the ball but didn't really seem to know what to do with it when he got into good positions. , J.Henderson: Played alright without any big mistakes but still troubled a bit by pace and strength of some of the Dutch amateurs which isnt really a great sign. McDermott: Same as Henderson really. Barton: Scored the first goal of the game. Deflected shot from right outside the penalty box, unsure if it would've gone in without the deflection. Played center midfield and his passing was very erratic. Hilarious dive for the penalty. Sent the keeper the wrong way with a clean strike of the ball but hit the post to his right and it bounced out. Turned sour after a couple of heavy challenges and realising the ref was shit. Started to foul everything that came in his way, got booked and got subbed straight after(approx 70 mins). Inman came on and did nothing worth mentioning really. Moyo: Played left wing and hugged the touchline giving us a bit of width. Plenty of good involvements in the first half but invisble in the second. Looked pacey and with a bit of skill to go with it. On a less positive note he looked very light and the wind almost blew him over a couple of times. Raw but one of few that showed a bit of skill. Ranger: Seemed to make an effort in the first half especially closing down defenders. Didn't get one decent cross to work with. Involved in the first goal. Got into some decent positions but looked completely clueless as to what to do with the final ball. Subbed for Airey around the hour mark. Airey ran a lot. Not much more to say about his half hour on the pitch. Xisco: Looked half decent with the ball in his feet, doesnt exactly chase defenders Bellamy style. Weird decision making. Seems to have zero confidence and looked genuinely happy after he got subbed and could sit on the bench without being abused by the coach(the "other one" not Beardsley) and some of his teammates. Donaldson came on with about 25 to go. Decent finish to make it 2-2 with about 15 minutes left to play. Might score 8-10 as a striker in the Dutch Third Division by the looks of hit. Found his level. Brilliant. Routledge: Lightning fast. Shit passing. Doesnt have a clue what to do with ball. Average game. Edmundsson came on for the last hour and set up Donaldson with a nice pass. Looked alright. Other observations: Not sure what the name of Beardsleys assistant is but he definitely shouted a lot. 75% off all comments encouraging the left back Dummet and 25% slagging off Xisco for various and at times pretty unwarranted reasons. Beardsley didn't really say anything during the course of the game but was nice enough to give the subs a sheet with instructions before they came on. The look on Sammy Ameobi's face when he got his sheet was priceless. Looked like someone sitting an exam who just realised they'd studied for the wrong one and not recognising the wording in any of the questions. He also seemed like the happiest guy in the world and was constantly grinning. (Until he got his sheet that is) Right, that's about it. If yous have any questions feel free to ask!
  12. Anyone else going to the reserves match in Holland today?
  13. Happy days. Live in Holland at the moment so will be able to catch at least one of the games.
  14. Arguably the best use of that smiley ever. Cheers to the both of you. Didn't see much wrong in asking the question and offering my thoughts on the job in question. Sorry if I offended you fellas
  15. Will be interesting, over here the CPS have already said they don't find the chant to be racist. Did it involve "Washing elephants"? Affirmative. I heard that one at St James for the City game, made me very uncomfortable I have to say. Was taken up by pretty much the whole singing section as well, which was a bit worrying. I thought this chant was made because his dad actually washes elephants back in Togo. If that is the case( a pretty awesome job btw) is it actually rascist? Also, why can't the elephants wash themselfes? Maybe it's something similar to a carwash service where people riding elephants can stop by and get it cleaned? The latter part of the chant is about his mums profession which by many would be considered to be a worse job than elephant-washing job. I highly doubt that's her actual job though. It is kind of amusing that people react more to the first part of the chant I guess. Not sure if it's actually rascist, although I guess if his dad worked in a bank they wouldn't sing; His dad is a banker, his mum is a *****.
  16. Even though replays can be boring as on some occasions it is one of the things that makes the competition unique. Also, wouldn't this massively influence how much cash lower league sides would get from their cup runs as a whole as there would be less matches for them without the potential replay? As for the CL spot to the winner, awesome idea but didn't UEFA shoot it down earlier? I think it's an absolute travesty how clubs like Newcastle don't prioritise the FA Cup. Surely it's the biggest thing we could ever dream of winning in the next 10 years. Like it or not.
  17. You're right there. But these guys weren't joking. They were genuinely angry about it. Confirmed in the vid of AG. He's livid. If he was laughing when saying it I reckon it would have been viewed far less seriously. Imagine them saying it and laughing...it has much different overtones. Fair play. I haven't actually heard the interview. If they were genuinely angry and upset about a female lineswoman I feel sorry sorry for people spending time with them in everyday life. Imagine how fuming they'll be all the time when small trivial things go against them like no more toilet paper after they've taken a dump or no more lotion in the hourse when they're in the mood for some self-pleasuring.
  18. I don't know. Obviously they have an obligation since they represent Skysports and should keep that in mind when at work but I do not really see the problem here. People are so sensitive these days. I reckon the myth about woman and the offside rule is a stereotypical joke on par with for example the assumption that italian players are more prone to diving and unsportsmanship than others. It annoys me when things everyone is thinking and joking about informally is blown out of proportions just because it happens with "famous" people. Surely everyone understand this is not a company policy within skysports. Based on the reaction and press this gets you'd think the two old men had tied her up and gang-raped her with their wrinkly old snakes and then forced her to make them a sandwich afterwards. People need to chill
  19. I had a dream last night that we drew 2-2. 1-0 down at half-time to a Kieran Richardson free kick that Steve Harper should've saved. Darren Bent doubled Sunderlands lead with a goal I can't remember in the second half. Two minutes into injury time Steven Taylor scored for us without me seeing it and then :colo: equalised 5 minutes into injury time with a header from a corner. On a sidenote, I was watching the game in a friends basement. He had just bought a dog and I'm shit scared of dogs so I was very uncomfortable the whole game as the dog kept running around showing his teeth. Took some of the joy away from a hard fought draw
  20. Bent is poor at the moment but I agree with Welbeck. Isn't he injured though? streched off in their last game? I think you're right, it will be Bent and Gyan up front, from what Ive heard they are not playing together very well, too alike some Mackems say. Racist bastards!

    Jose Fonte

Obviously Fonte blacmailing Pardew to get signed by a Premiership side, increased wages, etc. Fair play to him.
  22. What if we all start a hunger strike to get Alan Smith to retire? Surely he would not let people starve to death just for him to humiliate himself on the pitch every now and then? We could twitter Danny Simpson, Wayne Routledge and Nile Ranger to let them know about the hunger strike so that they could inform mr. Smith. Who's in? (alcohol is allowed during the strike btw, but no water) The hunger strike will start in 21 minutes as soon as I've finished my pizza.
  23. We could of done with Mark Messier in midfield & Mike Richter in goal today. 11 Hugh Jessimans would have been better than what we managed today
