They've got Everton, Villa, Southampton, Stoke and one more, not sure who. Apr 20 Sunderland v Everton Stadium of Light Apr 29 Aston Villa v Sunderland Villa Park May 6 Sunderland v Stoke City Stadium of Light May 12 Sunderland v Southampton Stadium of Light May 19 Tottenham v Sunderland White Hart Lane Might just stay up. The derby win would have given them self-confidence and fresh impetus.

I think too much has been made on the 8 year contract. After Allardyce and Keegan, he was never gonna pay out an insane sum for sacking a manager. If anything the contract merely means any club coming in for him after his MOTY award needs to pay a huge compensation. Ashley would also have an escape clause somewhere in there offering much less than the 8 years worth should he sack Pardew. You're probably right but for me a manager with 1-2 years left on his contract, effectively playing for his next contract would put in more effort and dedication to his job than a man who knows that he just has to do the bare minimum year in year out to keep him in beer? He knows he isn't safe from the chop like. You remember him totally stressed out in his interviews before the January signings? The only thing going for him is that Ashley and Llambias seem to like him and Pardew knows his place, but even so they can only tolerate so much. Ashley still holds the trump card when it comes to cutting him off.

You didn't see the Ryder post? Yes. It's irrelevant what he says. I sure hope the window licker's wrong.

Did the ref have a clear view of the incident?

(Planning to) offer one but think Shola is still undecided. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/shola-ameobi-offered-new-contract-1943164

Against a club taking plenty of placed shots.

Are you getting one?

Smells like trying to force Liverpool / Carroll into accepting West Ham's terms.

Surprised they didn't do a £30 special.

West Bromwich Albion vs Newcastle United - 20/04/13 @ 3pm (No TV)
LRD replied to Fenham Mag's topic in Football
Get someone on emergency loan. Man City or Chelsea have used that rule before in recent seasons. -
http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/newcastle-united-could-face-keeper-2596558 Fwiw those 2 conceded by Elliot were very good goals. Doubt Krul would have made much of a difference to the scoreline considering 'we was tired'.

Yup. On paper those quotes are the right thing to do. Just fear it's all empty words.

He better get us another 4points. He probably will end this season on some sort of magical run and everything will be forgotten... I'm praying for 'moments of magic' in our last few games. Can't see us getting any points otherwise with our disjointed performances. HBA or cisse wonder goals, right out of pards playbook Sad it has to come to this to secure our survival.

Yeah - at least it would be entertaining! Would be interesting to see what attacking coaches like that could do with our players. Continuing the football 'hipster' trend - the other option would be Dragan Stojkovic. Is he the one Wenger wanted as successor? Manager of some J-League club I think. Think he's leaving at the end of season. Lost the squad in his 2nd season. If there is one manager more confrontational than Rafa...
