  1. Tbf Shola can still play a role in the last 10-20 minutes of a match. Just not the whole match please!

    Loïc Remy

Tbf we all thought the same since the turn of the ear but they've had 2 very good draws against Man City and Spurs. Julio Cesar has been class. It'll be plenty of draws on their way to safety. Hope to be proven wrong of course.

Atletico is coming over to play our national side (Singapore) in a friendly this August for free. Learn from that you Premier League cash cows! Falcao... (Now I've likely jinxed it and they'll probably play a youth side and still beat us comfortably )

  5. Just saw it (Terry) again and it could have caused some serious damage. Typical of that classless thug.
  6. Wow. On the one occasion he should have backed off, he didn't.
  7. Tottenham 2-2 Newcastle Chelsea 2-1 Wigan Norwich 1-1 Fulham Stoke City 2-1 Reading Sunderland 2-2 Arsenal Swansea 1-0 QPR Southampton 2-2 Man City Aston Villa 2-2 West Ham Man Utd 0-1 Everton Liverpool 3-1 West Brom Liverpool 2-2 Swansea
  8. Yup, would love to see proper understanding develop between players on the pitch. We had Colo/Enrique, Enrique/Jonas and Carroll/Nolan/Barton. Can't wait to see Cabaye/Debuchy, a midfield trio of Cabaye/Sissoko/one of Anita/Tiote, and Sissoko/Cisse. There's so much potential in this team.

  10. What did that little prick do?
  11. The celebrations with the Sissoko winner that while everyone instinctively went over to celebrate with him, Cabaye didn't forget Santon and congratulated him for the assist. Lovely from our future captain.

    James Perch

He also seem to cover for Vertonghen at the back when the latter went forward, something which could work very well with MYM/Colo here.
  13. Pardew has no excuse not to play him like he was first season now with the signing of Sissoko. All he needs is to free up Cabaye and Sissoko, and he would have done an immense job.
  14. We've got ourselves into a good platform with the last 2 games and confidence seems to be coming back. Reading, QPR, Southampton have been hitting some form recently though, and even freaking West Ham managed a win. Cautiously optimistic as long as Pardew knows how to keep the momentum going.
  15. Aye, not many times this season we can say we have played as a team and not strangers. Sissoko and Gouffran slotting effortlessly into our system was amazing to see. Sure we took plenty of positive vibes from the last couple of games.
  16. Have to admit though that first 10-15 minutes after restart I was cussing Pardew for reverting to type. What followed was pure orgasmic heaven. Had not enjoyed a game like this for a long time.
  17. Hold on. He's seen it now.
  18. In perspective: Reading - Scored our first set piece goal (Cabaye free kick) Villa - First away win Chelsea - first come-back win, back-to-back wins in 11 months. Things are looking up.
  19. Right, as he cut in on it. Santon had a good game including 2 nice assists. I was kinda surprised Ivanovic didn't shepherd him to the outside for his 2nd assist though. If he had done a bit of research he would have realised Santon pretty much can't cross with his leftie.
  20. Was the cross leading to the first goal from his left or right foot?

    Paul Gascoigne

Didn't Fergie get rid of McGrath and the drink culture at the club though? Pretty sure I read it somewhere.
  22. My point is that it doesn't matter where they are from. We have Shola, a local lad who can be vocal at times whining at players, referees yet he doesn't put his words into action. Then you see the contrast from Cabaye who has been a leader and a huge influence in the last few matches. Sissoko, Gouffran have been giving their best too even if they have barely smelled the Geordie air. As long as the foreign lads make an effort in integrating into the team, it doesn't really matter where they are Geordie or English.
