Made similar comment early this week after seeing him (Supermac) in local Morrisons.

My only hope is that someone from Europe comes in and makes an acceptable offer and does it quickly. We can move on.

Saw Supermac in my local Morrisons yesterday, definitely similar levels of hurt and disappointment. Although not really modern times.

Normally I couldn't give a shit about pre season friendly scores. It's just a means to get fit and work on set ups/tactics. However, given our current downbeat feeling we definitely could do with some positivity here. No injuries to purples is paramount.

It was mentioned on Talksport yesterday that Eddie Howe has a good relationship with someone in the hierarchy at Liverpool ?? wherein they'd only put a bid in once we're open to discuss a possible transfer.

Breaking news on SSN Liverpool open talks with Ekitike.

Wish I could feel calm in the absolute knowledge that we string them along all summer. And then announce Isak has signed a new contract.

I'm sure there's several plates spinning and the Longstaff move appears to have been finalised whilst the Ekitike story developed. There's going to be several twists and turns as we're obviously serious about improving our squad.
