Couple of nice things to hear, proud of where he's from and noticeable he stated the exactly the 'type' of player style we need. Not a goal scorer more a forward player ( like a João Pedro hopefully).

Pre-season (2025/26) - NUFC to Tour Singapore

Hopefully the news of those choosing to get involved with the trouble over this past week being remanded/sentenced quickly will prompt some to make the right decision. No doubt there'll be some who attend regardless but the younger one's need educating on what may be a life changing decision. I hope this week is calmer and that this planned meeting is a lowly attended damp squib. -
Players that were actually decent for us that are totally forgotten

Kristiensen was my initial thought but didn't know if my memory was clouded. He had a Schar playing style. -

I had the same thoughts. Also think people are just putting random names of players they've a soft spot for but who were in no way decent. -
Aww man, he wore the strip of my childhood memories with a passion. RIP TC.

Good to see Willock back, let's hope he's on the road to return to his top level. -
What an excellent interview, she (Staveley) will go down as a legend in our history now regardless. Given her health, and from a more personal perspective my age, I hope Newcastle win a trophy very soon to really cement this period of our history as a success. I hope she's watching the Southampton match from afar as I'm sure WF will do her proud. Thanks for the memories Amanda.

It's definitely a positive longer term for Gordon to enjoy a proper break. As has been mentioned he's spent the last two early summer's away on international duty. He'll come back refreshed and is already totally up to speed mentally with his role on the pitch. He'll be fine but I wouldn't be surprised to see Barnes vs Southampton. Hopefully not as I'm going and Gordon is a tremendous watch but fitness wise he may be a week or so away. -
Watched the 1st half of Arsenal game, after 10 mins of the match the speed of play was incredible. Don't know if it's something Arteta is working towards but it was quite noticeable how fast they were moving the ball, far faster than anything we usually see. Ødegaard fell awkwardly and I thought he must've dislocated or broke his arm but he seemed OK. Arsenal are really going to push Man City again.

Pretty awful opposition but Hall came out of that as a positive. Obviously no injuries good and fitness levels increased also. -
Would've been if you'd responded to the email so only 226,999.

You not had the email about the ballot?

Apparently so and they're the bestest.

That all Sunderland supporters are harder than all Newcastle supporters and that Newcastle supporters being in Co Durham is an absolute disgrace but that Sunderland supporters anywhere north of the Tyne are massive lads fans/salt of the earth ect ec.

Email dropped at 5pm precisely.

He was helped by that appalling performance by whoever was up against him at LB for Man City.

If only it worked that easy. Sell Longstaff for £15 mill and buy Gilmour for £12 mill. Wages would probably be same too.

No chance (hopefully). We need a, or at least the potential to be, a top 4 player. Gnonto is not that.

I'm actually feeling a little nervous for this. Think it's because I've witnessed England and Newcastle at a combined 7 finals without a win. Really could do with seeing England lift the cup please, followed closely by Newcastle even better. I really don't usually care too much about the national team.

A little concerning but not entirely unexpected given Staveley's financial situation. Given her status within the club a statement will surely follow rather quickly. Amanda Staveley will be remembered fondly for her role and subsequent involvement in the takeover.

Perfect scenario for me, Schar scored but England went through.

Took a bit too long for VAR decision but got it right.
