Really needs a thorough review of how we play. Other than "get it down the wings to cut it across the box" I can honestly say I see no style of play emerging. The movement of our players is absolutely shocking, both offensively and when tracking markers.

Played like he had shrunk 5 inches over night and hadn't noticed. Was absolutely no where near almost every aerial ball he went for. Does quite a lot of that tackling but still not coming out with the ball that seems to be a feature with a lot of our players.

I agree with this, but I think De Jong could be an option "to hit" be it on the deck or in the air. At least he probably wouldn't just hoof it straight in the air for no reason or pass it to the opposition. I'd like to see Mitrovic up top, Perez/De Jong just off him, Gini partnering Anita/Colback in midfield and Thauvin and Aarons on the wings (Or Perez, if you start De Jong). Piss takers like Sissoko and Cisse can sit it out until they either start trying or leave. It's an absolute joke that the two most vocal players voicing their displeasure at how their quality is not recognised are the two who look like the should be benched. Cisse doesn't understand why he didn't play a couple of games and then plays like that? Sissoko says that he needs to leave for a Champions League club and then can't put in a decent performance against West Ham? They are honestly taking the mick.

Should player deeper in our team. He is mobile, can move with the ball and can pick a pass. No reason he can't play box to box. De Jong or Perez ahead of him.

I've seen that the BBC sport page is doing weekly infographic/stat round up showing the top players in various categories, shots, passes etc. Colback wasn't even in the top five for distance covered this week. Disappointing. Probably was top five for passes behind the man tho. BBC didn't have that stat.

In Lee's defence, if he's just seen him scoring a couple of goals in a shower of shit team on MOTD, I can understand how he thinks Colback was one of our better players. It's a shame he doesn't have the ego to look at Colback and think "I was miles better than that. He's not good enough" or even the memory to think of how good Cabaye could be for us.
