Thank god they didn't plonk Bowyer down there to form the unholiest of all trinities.

Did Dyer just say that if we have made a dodgy signing, that it's Isak? Dafuq is he smoking?

Fuck it, this kid's a fucking star.

To be honest, I'd rather the rest of their players were knackered by playing the extra game than worrying about Casemiro.

And all of that to finish 7th a couple of times.

Do the grey seats bother anyone? I just think we can make SJP more homely if we go for black seats like Derby have, with perhaps some seats in white showing NUFC and the like.

Based in the South-West, so will be travelling down to London early Sunday morning and staying the night. If there's one of those German fan style marches down in Central London, would love for it to happen and show them what it's all about.

It was right after half time when it was most disappointing tbh. On the TV you could hear a pin drop and I feel it was a big factor why Southampton were able to grow in confidence and knock it around for pretty much the entire half. Forget the entirety of second 45 minutes, if we could have unsettled them with some noise just in that first five to 10 minutes, it's possible that they would have got jittery and the complexion of that half would have different. -

Okay, Cock and Lion will be full sure - anyone know of any other Toon strongholds?

Nah, they've made a decision based on this: 'At a meeting of the NTCA’s cabinet at Newcastle Civic Centre, North of Tyne mayor Jamie Driscoll claimed there were “economic ramifications that don’t stack up” on the site, which was sold by former Magpies owner Mike Ashley. The Labour mayor later told the LDRS: “There are a number of issues about the economic viability of this, should we be subsidising the nature of the project, the housing. "I know there is a big public story about Newcastle United and the possibility to expand – I don’t know whether this would actually impinge on that or not anyway, that is a question for architects and engineers. But we have decided that we are not going to support the scheme, on its own merits, with public money.” The move will come as a welcome relief to NUFC supporters hoping for more positive news at St James' Park on transfer deadline day and came just a few hours before the second leg of the League Cup semi-final against Southampton.'

As much as I love and adore Shearer and Sir Bobby, KK is a more pivotal individual in our history so it's about time that we recognise the bloke whether through a statue or renaming the East Stand after him.

Fingers crossed we can get this over the line.
