  1. My initial reaction was that they're not bad for Puma, but then I remembered these kits will lead us into our 125th anniversary so the cheap quality (+Wonga, of course) has really ticked me off.
  2. In terms of home kits, perhaps. But the best overall Puma one has to be sexy all black from 11/12. http://football-uniform.up.n.seesaa.net/football-uniform/image/Newcastle-11-12-PUMA-third-kit-Yohan-Cabaye.jpg?d=a0
  3. Love all three Brown Ale Kits, but have to pick the 95-97 above 97-99 because the latter was so itchy. I really like adidas' relegation shirt; the more black, the better.
  4. The leaks of our fellow Puma sufferers:
  5. Copenhagen's lush. My friend took me to a Brøndby IF v Nordsjælland game last year and the atmosphere was terrific. Man alive, if we can get that sort of noise going on Sunday, those fuckers in red and white will piss their pants.
  6. Do you guys remember Janmaat's quote after Pardew's final defeat? “Maybe we should have thought more about tactics and less about fighting.” Until the sending off earlier this season, McClaren outwitted Allardyce. So I have full faith in Rafa for this, he just needs to have a word with Colback and Taylor to not lose their heads and go in for two footed challenges. Easier said than done, I know.
  7. Reus has arrowed one in the bottom corner. 1-0 against Mainz.

    Steve McClaren

It's a classy statement. He's a decent man unlike Pardew so I wish him well.
  9. 3 hour drive from Liverpool to Newcastle. Today would have been the perfect day to have the York meeting. In any case, where is Ashley's chopper when you need it?
  10. So the Brøndby manager has had to resign because his chairman had been trashing him and his tactics using a pseudonym on one of the online forums.

    Steve McClaren

Neil Cameron ‏@NeilCameron5 3m3 minutes ago I have just been told Steve McClaren has been sacked. Is it true?
  12. The whole show is run by the Palace supporting c*** Neil Ashton. Still haven't forgotten his dig when the Sack Pardew campaign was going on in 2014, 'Newcastle fans expect a lot from their team and a lot from their manager.' t***.
  13. Spent a lot of cash in the expectation that this year they wouldn't screw up. Haven't won in 7 games which probably provided the Derby board with a deja vu of what happened last season. Probably felt that if they left it another month, they'd be too far off 2nd place.
  14. I don't know why they don't use red anymore on the home kit. The best efforts from the last 20 years were 98 and 04, both of which incorporated plenty of that colour. http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2014/05/19/article-2632673-000EEC3C00000258-210_306x423.jpg
  15. Boro back in for Rhodes apparently. Figure being bandied around is £13 million.
  16. Watching Dortmund really helps in alleviating NUFC blues. 2-0 up against Gladbach, the second one an absolute beauty on the counter. Reus assist for Mkhitaryan.

    Andros Townsend

  18. We've given him some deserved stick for his lackadaisical defending but he's definitely improved in that area in the last few games. Obviously, at the other end of the pitch, what a player he is. Terrific touch and great awareness to put it in the right area for Gini.
  19. http://www.irishtimes.com/opinion/ars%C3%A8ne-wenger-can-teach-us-all-a-lesson-in-decency-1.2480404#.Vobas83I3kJ.twitter
  20. The Soccer Saturday speaking about Swansea and how they shouldn't lose sight of what they are by chasing Bielsa. Apparently, they should give a British manager like Dyche or Warburton a chance. It's just baffling that this tabloid level of debate continues on TV without any criticism.
