S. Longstaff has been very poor. No idea why we are not selling him if offers come. At least after the take over shouldnt be anywhere near first XI. To be fair everyone has been crap today.

We have played better than last few games. It's still awful. Burnley is horrible though. ASM against Bardsley who has been booked should be fun 2nd half.

The real problem is there is no football coherence at all between the players. It's like 11 players who are all just doing their own stuff like they are getting no instruction at all. As a result we lose the ball before we get over the halfway line, let along fashion any credible chances. Exactly. Seems like they haven't played together ever. I mean, our non-league team has some sort of combinations. There seems to have no tactic where to pass and from where we are supposed to create openings. Give it to Saint-Maximin and hope. Like Souness all over again. 10 people standing and Dubs (Given) doing his best to keep the score low.

He has been poor of course, but the role he has been playing is impossible. Our midfield 2 today was like 40 yards away, and there are no one running in behind. There really is not a player who would do well in that situation. ASM and Almiron are playing too wide and there seems to be no chemistry between the three. And most likely there is not a common language either if Joelinton doesn't speak English.

This is awful. Does the team practice attacking at all?

We really can't play with those two donkeys in CM. Both are very slow and poor on the ball. Hayden at least should be brought on. Nabil is certainly going to get a 2nd yellow

Because Özil is free 5 yards from the goal? Have to agree that Bentaleb has been disappointing. Very slow and gives the ball away a lot.

He has been poor, but the tactics are ridicilous for a no 9 to succeed. We overload the flanks, and sometimes get crosses in the box from Ritchie, Fernandez or Yedlin. Yedlin usually has poor delivery, but Ritchie's crosses are decent. The problem is that there are literally no one in the box with Joelinton. Our midfield 2 are so slow and defensive that they usually are nowhere near. Hayden has some pace to get in to the box, but doesn't do it often enough. Bentaleb and Shelvey doesn't have the legs. ASM plays very wide, and usually is totally out of everything when the ball is at the other flank. Overloading is fine, but the winger from the other side has to get in to the box more often. This is a very different front 3 if you compare it to Rafa's, when Perez was playing a lot closer to Rondon. Either ditch the back 5, or move ASM and Almiron closer to Joelinton.

And to add that, the court case revealed that the club had faked a date on a contract releasing a player, Shefki's brother, so that he could leave as a free agent. They made it look like he was a free agent at the end of August, which he wasnt. That will most likely go down well with UEFA... Sorry for total off topic, but it looks like he isn't the answer to our striking problems.

Actually his brother (and maybe him too, it's a bit weird) sued the club he coached (and got sacked, after he tried to sack all the coaching staff) to court, and turned out that they had faked a chairman's signature to some contract. They demanded some payments that where supposedly due.
