I think I'm taking this defeat/gang rape quite well but I can't stop thinking how we just lost 3-0 (not 1-0 or 2-1) to sunderland's worst team in years. It's especially bad as we've apparently got our best team in years. What a difference a manager makes. 3-0, man.

Di Canio owned him from the first minute to the last. When Pardew went to shake hands with the grinning fascist at the final whistle I half expected him to drop to one knee. Man against boy in every way today. Di Canio firing his players up for 90 mins and Pardew just staring at his notepad. The tiredness quotes are strange given that we only played for 20 mins on Thursday

I just can't see much to hope for at this point. Next year will be exactly like this one but with slightly better results, we'll finish 12th and we'll all become completely apathetic.
