Isn't that the idea? The usual players who get touted for a loan (Sammy, Ferguson, Gosling etc) are often on our bench. Those players aren't going anywhere because we'll not replace them so they're key squad players, sadly.

There's too much obsession over loan deals on here. On the rare occasions we send a player out it's for about a month which achieves nothing. Plus we only seem to send players who are nowhere near getting on the bench.

Won't even play. Waste of time.

We need to sign a captain. No more of this "he's a good pro" rubbish, now more than ever we need someone who can actually lead the team on the pitch. There's been plenty of occasions this season where a player has needed a kick up the arse during a game but it doesn't happen. Kilcline could kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

Players don't often criticize their former managers on the record/in public. It's rarer than you'd think.

One of his trademarks is losing the dressing room and he's admitted (for no reason) they had a falling out recently. It might be jumping to conclusions but it's not much of a jump.
