Did you holdthedor for him?

How long was the video? They’d do well to stretch the so called highlights to 3 minutes

Can we at least wait until Wissa has kicked a ball for us. Before declaring DCL, Evan Ferguson and/or Troy Parrott would have been better options.
-
Ah. There’s always receipts. Maybe I had a low bar for him. As he seemed like he would have been a Bullard LADS LADS LADS type of media personality. Based on the way he seemed to be on the pitch and in interviews. Yet he is speaks well whenever I seem to hear him.

TCD would make a great politician

Joe Hart seems like a very good pundit. Goes in depth without seeming to waffle or disappear up his own arse with buzz words and overly analytical guff. Speaks eloquently and seems a lot more measured and thoughtful than basically all the mainstream ones. What happened to Nedum Onuoha? He seemed quality the last year or two. But barely see or hear him these days.

Done this in the build up quite a bit before, haven’t we? Trippier usually the man coming into the middle and to start with, looked great doing it. I think Hall has also been the man in and done well at it, as you’d expect. Tino had a go one game and didn’t look comfortable at all.

I wonder if he would have taken the penalty if it was given? Struggling to think of anyone else we had on the pitch that might have been on penalty duty.

Would that not mean Joelinton starts? Who seemingly still has his usual injury troubles and would end up playing a half or more? I'd like to see Tonali rested for this more than Bruno, even. I can't see us going 3 at the back and a midfield 2 again against Bradford. I expect it'll be a return to the midfield 3.

Such an annoying footballer. Has some really unique talents and he will often do a lot of things right. Followed by fucking up the simplest pass, touch, shot etc. A couple of times yesterday he did one of his trademark runs, where he drags us 40-50 yards up the pitch with ease. Only to then fuck it all up and lose it under no real pressure. It's a shame all of the injuries have seemingly fucked him. As he should be someone that is pushing to start every week. But now he just feels positionless and a waste of a shirt. Which actually saddens me a bit. As I was part of the Willock fan club for a long while. Hopefully he can make some meaningful contributions this season. As we'll be needing to use the squad if we go well in a couple of the cup competitions.

Loved him getting forward at the end. Was our best attacking outlet second half I thought Tonali or Botman were arguably our best players on the day. But Burn must have run them close. Even a few of the mistakes he made. He then often made up for it by getting back and winning possession. A few times their player would try and take him on or chop him one way and he'd read it, stay upright and just nick it back with ease. Bit of a difficult one. As I think Botman is our best CB. But he has been so in and out the team and we will play with 2 CB's more than 3, I'd say. You can't drop Burn and I'm not sure Botman should play at RCB ahead of Schar or even Thiaw.

Ramsdale Trippier Thiaw Botman Hall Bruno and Joelinton get a half each Miley Willock Elanga Woltemade Gordon I think Tino could do with a week off playing until Arsenal. Burn the same. Murphy perhaps not worth risking if he is still nursing an injury. Like a few others have said. I feel like it is worth trying what I think is probably our strongest available front 3. We need to start trying to get some chemistry going and creating more in attack. If all is going well, then we can look to bring on the likes of Barnes and Osula in the forward areas. Possibly even someone like Neave or Soo. Obviously this is all in an ideal world and assumes the game is going as we'd want it to..........

Start Gordon and Willock. They need to try and find some form from somewhere and get minutes in. I’d say the same for Barnes. But that would mean Gordon up top and that experiment should be over.

I mean, I agree that our corners are shit. But that is just nonsense. Not sure what the percentage is now. But didn’t it used to be like 2-3% of all corners in the prem resulted in goals?
-
So much better as a sub. Like the opposite of Elanga. Who has been crap when brought on twice. But looked really lively as a starter. I thought he was lively when he came on and one of our only good attacking players.
-
I thought the game passed him by at times. All happening a bit too quick for him and physically he was outmatched quite often. At the same time. The only decent attacking play we had for basically the whole game. Came through him. I think we will be much better as a team when he is up to speed and the players around him know what he’s about, as well.
-
Probably the worst game in the Prem this season. But a point against a decent side where most expected us to lose. So I’ll take it. Bit of a worry that we look so disjointed and toothless in attack. But we had a few spells where we looked decent. Trying to take the positives here

I think it is. I am in the camp of thinking we need to rotate and don’t have an issue with changes and rotation. We need to do it more often. I just don’t like the 3 at the back unless it’s against one of the big boys. Always feels like it’s a cop out. As we have strength in depth there and it is a way to shoehorn Botman in. As he is too good to be sat on the bench for us. Miley isn’t mobile enough in the middle IMO Game sort of passes him by. For all that he has potential. Willock isn’t really the player he was 2 years ago and Elanga has been used quite sparingly. I wonder if Howe just really sees him as an option on the right, only? As I would have liked him on the left today. As always, in Howe we trust. But it’s fine for people to question ropey looking lineups. Everyone did before Leeds and that was our worst performance of the season by a long way. I hope that team is wrong for a similar reason.

All these ropey looking TBG XI’s and rogue ITK’s. One of them will be right eventually. But in the words of Ray Wilkins (RIP) ‘MY WORD’, that is not a good lineup.
