I get some of the criticism aimed at Howe. But you have just totally ignored the fact we have played Arsenal, Leicester, Liverpool, Man City, Man U oh and had 10 men for 80 odd minutes vs Norwich in his first 8 league games. Other than that. I’m sure the stats check out and after 8 games. He has proven he isn’t good enough in your eyes.

Agree with all of this. I said I'd take relegation if it meant getting rid of Ashley. I know that doesn't mean we have to get relegated, it's not lik I made a pact with the devil or anything But it is still how I feel. To be honest, if it meant going down and having a total clearout and a proper rebuild. Then I am all for it. Too many of these players are not good enough, completely shot with bruised egos, shit attitude or just all of the above. Tear it down and start again.

If we do have a budget of £100m, which has been reported a few times. I feel like we would be better off spending the big money on a striker and a midfielder. Then looking to also get a centre back and also a left back in, if that is possible. Our options are hardly inspiring. But at least we actually have some options at centre back. Centre mid is currently Shelvey who is back to his strolling around with a cigar on best. Then Willock who clearly can't play there in a two, or even play football, based on the last game. Longstaff is woeful and needs to be peddled. Oh then we have an injured Hayden who has been poor for a while and Joelinton who has played about 4 games at centre mid in his senior career and also won't be playing in a 2. As for striker, for the next two months at least. It's an injured/Covid infected/unreliable Gayle and..... ??

Move on to the next ones on the list. This seems daft now. Need a striker and a centre mid more than a CB right now, I think. Kind of pick your poison with our current squad, as there are holes across the whole lineup.

Probably end up being nothing in the links and we’ve wasted about 100 pages debating it But I swear some people are going on like he’s Ade Akinbiyi or a 40 year old Heskey or something He’d hardly be my first choice. But he does work hard and defend from the front, he scores off both feet and provides a threat in the air. Something that we massively lack bar set pieces when Lascelles plays. I think he’s pretty mobile, as well. He’s not slow like Shola at the end or Rondon for Everton, for example. Although TBF, they’re about as fast as a coastal erosion.

Someone on Twitter is saying we are going to become a feeder club for Inter Milan under PIF’s ownership of both clubs. I wonder if Inter want Wood or Cantwell? they must be keen on Almiron, at least.

Relying on Wilson to be fit seems a dangerous game to play. When he is fit and firing. We’d have to spend mega money to have an upgrade on him and we do need a squad after all. Not sure who fits the bill. But obviously I’d rather we spent £40-50m on a guaranteed starter and top class player. But going to be hard in January and with the position we are in.

If people could send the suggestions to Amanda and Mehrdad. Then we will just try and sign those, instead

Everyone saying the price is steep. That is going to be the case with every transfer, especially from other Prem clubs, isn’t it? We either take a massive risk, pay over the odds for a lot of players. Or accept our fate and start building for the Championship.
