Is he not a full back. Well, a wing back in his current system? Should we not look at buying an actual wide forward and not a right back EDIT: Talking about Lamptey.
-
I think this is from a social media famous Twitter argument. No need to panic.

Always liked Everton and been good fun and good people up there for away days. The same as Liverpool fans. I do feel like there seemed to be a shift from their end towards disliking us. I’m basing this off fans online, which isn’t necessarily a fair reflection. But it seemed noticeable when they got Allardyce. Still, the more shit teams the better. Hopefully Leeds and Everton get dragged into it properly and we might have more of a chance to get out the shit.

Often plays wide for them, doesn't he? I thought Lacazette had been starting most the time, since PEA was dropped?

I was just watching SSN for the first time in ages and this came up as breaking news. I was expecting it to be Chelsea or someone else had made a bid. So I was pleasantly surprised when they said it was us. Seems a bit of a waste of time if he doesn’t want to come here. But he would be a superb signing to follow after Trippier.

Vlahovic?! Surely he is going to have much better offers and would want a Champions League club? I read earlier that he has turned down Arsenal. Maybe he’s waiting for us to make an offer…..

That will be at 100 RPM in no time. Just like most of out chants that are sung at an annoyingly fast pace.

Geet up sausage.

There is a Youtube highlights clip doing the rounds on Twitter. He looked decent. But exactly what you describe there. A bit slow at times and his tackling technique looked awkward.
-
Oh yeah. He’d be a great signing. Just saying I think he was another CB from the Bundesliga that we were linked with. That was a while back, mind. Not seen anything recently.

This has late winner for Man U written all over it. Probably Ronaldo with a tap in. Looked poor whenever I have watched them. But is still banging them in.
-
Niklas Sule? He’s an absolute unit and out of contract at Bayern at the end of the season, I think.
-
Phil Jones has looked pretty good. Seeing as he hasn’t played in what seems like about 2 years.

Depending on injuries and availability due to COVID. I think we should aim to go fairly strong for this. Bring some fringe players in and maybe someone like Anderson. But still try and keep 4-5 regular starters in the lineup. Could be a great confidence booster and another game to get more used to Howe’s system. Also, a load of my mates support Cambridge. As I don’t live far from there. So putting the kids and reserves out and losing to these would make my life unbearable for a while!

Probably a combination of things. Rafa’s system and coaching would have helped massively. Steve ‘I don’y really do tactics’ Bruce, would not. He has had a good few injuries with us now, I think? Certainly feels like he has been in and out the side a lot over the last few years. He seems slower and more clumsy these days, which could be down to injuries, I suppose. Plus it can’t help his form and consistency not getting a long run in the side. Not sure there is anything in it. As he was on the way down beforehand. But he also took a long time to properly get over COVID, I believe.

Don’t know what it actually says in regards to the law for violent conduct/serious foul play or whatever it falls under. But is ‘led with the arm’ just a commentators thing? Won’t you always lead with your arm to some degree if jumping side on for a ball and reaching for it like that? You don’t keep your arms down by your sides going for a header. I agree with Neville. He hasn’t gone in to do him or swung an elbow to make contact. I think it’s a yellow.

Same. I know the two above us have a game or two in hand. But the fact they have burned two of their games and we are a point better off with them after the Man U game is huge. A while back, I felt like January was going to come too late and we may be like 6-8 points adrift. The lower end of the league is pretty bad.
-
I hope so. I don’t actually mind listening to Dyche at times. But the football they play is absolutely brutal to watch.
-
Need Burnley to equalise, no? Leeds and Watford need to be down there with us for as long as possible.
-
Not that bad, is it? 7, maybe 8 regular starters in there? Both teams seem to be in patchy form with their performances and results of late. No idea on this one. 1-1, maybe.
-
Probably could have played Everton and got something. Seems toxic there and has been for a while.

Seemed to get away with a good 3-4 and somehow not get booked.
