the mackems who are spreading it are saying she's 17 and some of our lot have found out she was in uni in 2020 so... I dunno. I would take it all with a pinch of salt.

the family portrait on the wall pic doesn't make any sense. Why would he take her back to his home? I can't see that at all

This is what I thought. If we want to register a full 25 man squad for the CL then 4 of them have to be club homegrown. Anderson doesn't need to be registered as he's under 21 so we currently only have 2 - Dummett and Longstaff. If we're going to register a full 25 then we need two more on top of those so it makes sense to keep Dummett. I don't even know which club homegrown players are out there to get so that we can register 25? Krul, Woodman and Forster? Ivan Toney? Adam Armstrong? Andy Carroll? .

most of his pressing stuff is accurate, agreed. The whole thread is just full of typical twitter tactico word salad for no good reason though, which is a bit grating tbh . The stuff about Willock dropping deep to form a double pivot in build up is just wrong, isn’t it. Willock is rarely, if ever, involved in build up and usually plays close to the last line or hovers out wide. Only one of our 8s contribute to build up and even then it’s usually Longstaff down the right with Trips, Bruno and Almiron. Willock has amongst the fewest passes of any midfielder in the prem this season and the left sided 8 is pretty much a pure transitional player. Burn inverting into a central midfield position was a feature against Brighton and Leicester and that’s about it. I don’t remember it happening at all before those games - I like it though; it’s a good way to maintain pressure. The one overarching feature of our build up is how we progress pretty much everything down the right hand side but that’s not even mentioned. It’s like he watched the Brighton game and based his thread off that. I think the account’s takes are generally a bit lazy.

KdB has twice as many non-penalty goals per 90 and over 2.5 times more assists per 90. There's quite a lot between them. It's fine to rate Fernandes but he's not even on the same planet as KdB.

Longstaff was this good under Benitez as well. He's always had this level in him. McTominay has not.
-
Leeds are known as United here in Leeds, like. In Sheffield where I’ve lived before it’s very much either Wednesday or United too.
-
we already have a better version of McTominay in Longstaff. We should be looking at an upgrade for Longstaff so that he can be a squad player. I can’t think of a single reason to sign McTominay at all, but then I couldn’t for Gordon either.

I didn’t really agree with much of this thread and then I’ve seen this morning that this account just chats a load of random old shite https://twitter.com/lehmannsterms_/status/1661392144542597122?s=46&t=ESLUrfpWavUWtHVLH1vDSA

How much would Levi Colwill cost from Chelsea? Seems like the ideal Dan Burn upgrade to me.

In terms of ranking the players' performances this season, as a top 10 I'd go: 1. Trippier 2. Schar 3. Wilson 4. Joelinton 5. Longstaff 6. Almiron 7. Botman 8. Willock 9. Bruno 10. Isak Feels harsh on the likes Big Dan and Pope, and even Murphy who've been good and important too. Pope would be up there but I reckon we'd have probably won a cup if he hadn't done a derp.

looks left-footed, pretty quick and really Brazilian

Palhinha is an absolutely phenomenal tackler and defensive player. Really good in the air too. He is really quite poor or the ball though imo. I don't think he would suit our style much at all.
-
was after we put this run together that I actually started thinking we could do it. We were poor in that Brentford game but still won anyway at one of the hardest grounds to go to in the country. I started thinking we were a legitimately good team then.
-
remember last time we qualified for Europe where we just signed Vurnon Anita and thought that would be enough?
-
getting both would be sensible imo. Each of them are capable of covering 4 different positions in our current system. That versatility is going to be important with more games next year.
-
this isn't true at all btw. He's better in pretty much every measurable metric this season. Just hasn't been fit.
-
most buzzing I’ve seen him. Legend.
-
why wouldn’t you want to taste white wine? you’re doing this wrong
-
I mean, it’s important to remember that he’s basically had no football this season as well. You can’t be disappointed when he’s not come in and immediately replaced Willock or Joelinton. He’ll have been rusty so to play as well as he did was very promising imo.
-
love him but Isak was poor when moved to the middle, like. Don’t think he won a single duel.
-
he was good considering the context of it being his first significant game time at this level. His only real minutes before this have been in the 4th division but you’d never have known that watching him. He had the right ideas, for sure.

who fucking cares

Isak has been very poor since moving central
