In the same scenario, an AFO would be perfectly legally entitled to shoot the offender dead in order to save the life of the potential victim. A kick to the head is reasonable force in the circumstances. Methinks Fantail used to drive a desk before retirement. And try to throw his colleagues under the proverbial bus. baton strike to the arm? Lol! By the time you draw the baton, extend it, aim for the knife arm (which may be away from you, or making you put yourself into knife reach), the offender would have killed the woman in this scenario. I’m guessing you’d have shouted several warnings first too, and allowed him time to put the knife down without any violent action being taken…or even tactically withdrawn from the room to await a negotiator… likewise…running in and rugby tackling puts more people at risk, and potential more injuries to both yourself, the woman, and the offender. You might well have served time as an officer, but you left with very little knowledge of both the law, and how to practically deal with situations ED209 clearly has experience in.

Not that it makes much of a difference, but the injury was caused by a broken bottle rather than a knife.

For your inane negative dribbling and putting down of everyone who posts some positivity (in the positivity thread)? Yeah, probably.

You seem a little negative to be posting in this thread…?

No chance Wilder will be coming- the Sheffield owner says he was on close to £4m a year there. Ashley would never agree to that! https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/12255769/sheffield-united-owner-prince-abdullah-chris-wilder-resigned-twice-wanted-4m-pay-off

He bought Brewster and Ramsdale for over £40m between them. Then came bottom of the league by a mile and the owner wasn’t happy with the performances for the money. I think other targets were suggested at the time but Wilder wanted his own in (and got them) and at the end of the season there was a subsequent falling out between both parties over it all- basically the owner wanted recruitment/purchasing to come via someone who wasn’t Wilder.

Ritchie called him a coward?

Pizzas all round at the training ground, to boost morale?

Free agent Wilder? Get him signed!

It’s the only way they see any action under Bruce...?

What the fuck does Thumbheed do? When was the last time we heard from him?

Of course, both Charnley and Keys dismissed the reports. Keys even suggested Rafa was to blame for spreading the malicious 11th choice theory... https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2019/08/14/lee-charnley-reacts-to-claims-steve-bruce-was-newcastles-11th-ch/?amp

If that’s the case why has he will fully allowed it to happen twice already with a more than serious possibility of a third one incoming. That doesn’t scream out that he cares one f***. I'll give him a text an ask him fwiw his contact information is actually readily available online and he answered me once (on an un-nufc related matter) a few years back Were you asking where he got his jeans from?

Elmohammedy will be a Championship shoe in for Brewcie to aid in our promotion fight

I wanna play a game. Batty vs Tiote...who wins? You decide, make your choice Tiote in the one in 20 games when he had a stormer. Batty in the other 19 to do the consistent stuff.

Why are you acting as if I'm trolling? I'm not. Need to be a blind man to not think Bruno is performing at the very top of the game at the minute. A very simple comment made in the other games thread while he played and scored twice. So wise up with that shite. Aye. Aye. Because it’s been talked to death for the last couple months, after you win. Everyone’s had their say. And after you lose (or win, or draw) you talk about Bruce. Every single game. And everyone has had their say. What's the difference? Man United played tonight. Bruno scored twice. Its topical. We're in the other games thread. You should expect it, and there's nothing wrong with it. There's no trolling. Just discussion on what's in front of you at that moment in time. All that needs said really. Is there a man United forum where away fans obsess over their own players without anyone biting? Fernandez is the best player ever, ole should be manager of the year, man united team of the year. Nobody here would really fucking care enough to discuss it without there being a man united fan talking about it. That’s why it’s tedious. This. Every fucking week.

What a load of shit. Someone saying they wish he’d die of Covid is hardly a ‘death threat’ whereby the clue in the title is that a ‘threat’ has been made. I bet Bruce would be more bothered if someone ‘threatened’ to hide his knife and fork.

Supposed to be a double transfer deal too- both 17 years old. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-9207171/amp/Manchester-City-talks-sign-Fluminense-teenagers-Kayky-Metinho.html

I get what you’re saying. I think it’s Bayern who said they don’t want to be involved in any ‘Super league’ as they understand what it would mean for the lower teams. Unfortunately, here in England, the ‘Big 6’ are motivated purely by the cash signs, and less (or not at all) about the thought of ruining the game as a whole and potentially driving other clubs to the wall. Whether this is because of foreign ownership purely in it to make cash, I don’t know. I haven’t taken much interest in other Euro leagues since the 90’s/00’s in all honesty, but it’s pretty damning on the likes of Real given their (usual lack of) challengers each year, to be pushing for this super league in the supposed manner they are. It’s greed, pure and simple. Those at the top stay top and fuck the rest, no matter that 20 years down the line there either won’t be anyone else, or people will be so disheartened with the same shite the ‘super’ league will have fallen by the wayside itself.

Load of shite. It’s all the ‘biggest’ and greediest clubs throughout the leagues, all wanting to protect and grow their future income at the expense of the alleged smaller clubs. https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/liverpool-man-utd-face-grilling-23440473
