Mickey Mouse ears…? ?
-
Why? Because he won’t sign a contract?
-
There was previous talk about another Middle Eastern country based company (Qatar or Abu Dhabi?)
-
He’s on around £100kpw according to various places. Contract ends summer 2024 so Zahavi (his agent) might be trying to bump up Bayerns contract offer, especially since they lost Sule on a free last year and won’t want to do that again.
-
Yeah, Schar will go in the next year or two mainly due to his age. But as I said previously, just can’t see us buying a player to fill that role when other positions need filling first, and can’t see us buying a player who will expect to be starting in that position- Schar has been quality all year. It’s been documented that we want a younger player to learn and come in when necessary.
-
He’s played 41 times for Bayern this year. He’s going to swap that to be back up to Schar?
-
Thanks- didn’t scroll down enough…!
-
Is it? Can’t find anything PIF related anywhere?

“Benjamin Pavard, who has been linked with a move to Barcelona, is believed to have been closely watched by Arsenal, Newcastle and Man Utd. Arsenal, Liverpool and Newcastle were keeping tabs on Leipzig duo Dani Olmo and Dominik Szoboszlai. The latter scored the clinching goal from the penalty spot.” https://www.90min.com/posts/arsenal-liverpool-man-utd-among-clubs-represented-at-bayern-munich-vs-rb-leipzig unless we’re replacing Schar though, I can’t see us spending the money on him, being 27. He’d be a definite starter. The thought is that we’d be after a younger player who can develop? Other positions need replacing first.

Does in the physio room.
-
Yeah, that’s fair. I’d forgotten the job he did for us- just thinking back to those times is hard enough.
-
Ketsbaia was decent enough. You could’ve chosen much better from the likes of Khizanishvili, Ferreyra, Doumbia, Barreca, Bentaleb, Rose, Ireland, Harewood, Fitz Hall, Onyewu, Diatta, Kuqi, Gonzalez, Riviere, Muto, Ki etc…! Fuck me, we’ve had some dross over the last decade.
-
No shit. So did Joelinton, Sancho, Werner, Havertz…
-
Plus his potentially better attacking stats? He’s got 14 goals this season. ASM hasn’t got 14 goals in the last four years combined. Total career appearances/goals- ASM 291/35, MD 206/53.

São Paulo defender Lucas Beraldo.

I’m not saying we’d find three Bruno’s again, but simply saying the figure wanted for Rice isn’t cost effective compared to elsewhere. Scouting departments will hopefully see that we don’t waste Antony and Mudryk type money (although we’re bound to have some ‘failures’, naturally).
-
For the fee and wages Rice would cost, we could get three ‘Bruno’s’ from the Continent. For that alone, I just can’t see Rice to us happening. West Ham want £120m (I’m sure they’d probably take a bit less), and the player has already turned down £200kpw. Added to that, we probably need around three or four first team players. £100m+ for Rice alone…just can’t see it.

Maddison on…

It’s The Mirror, but still… “the Reds have now been urged to step up their interest to the next level by opening talks with Bayern. Gravenberch is on £100,000-a-week in Germany - after tax. That means Liverpool would have to give him a £200,000-a-week contract just to match those terms. But those figures were not deemed to be an issue when the Merseysiders spoke to Gravenberch’s advisers in Amsterdam last Wednesday. And Liverpool are hoping that Bayern will do business if they can recoup the £16.3 million they paid Ajax last summer.” https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-transfer-ryan-gravenberch-contract-29736144.amp I think I’ve seen a figure of 30-40m being mentioned for him previously?
-
Aye, fair play to him. Got shot down by most/all (including me).

Kane must surely see the writing on the wall regarding his club (and Levy). This is his last chance to win trophies- he won’t get that at Spurs. The only reason he didn’t leave last time was because Levy wouldn’t let him- just can’t see him staying there this summer at all, unless he gets some Mbappe like power deal.
