I feel like you have a terrible opinion about pretty much everything.

1. Bruce 2. Pardew 3. Souness Don't have hate for any of the others, really. Can’t really say that McLaren was detestable, he was just a bit crap. Gullit refusing a payoff when he was sacked said a lot about him, despite how things went. Compare that to our last manager who was only here for the payoff.

I'd be gutted if it turns out to be work. I think I like him because there's no agenda. He's not claiming to be ITK, or trying to sell tickets for shite talk ins or self-published books about football hooligans. Just an unintentionally hilarious young lad having a great time doing what he enjoys.

Delighted that this lad has replaced Steve Wraith as the voice of the fans.

Looking at the other players that agent represents, if he's over here to get one of them a move, you can't imagine it being any of the others. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/pro-transfer/beraterfirma/berater/2579

Don't know if it has been mentioned in here yet, but the club have apparently bought the Barker & Stonehouse building just along from the ground.

The Grimsby 0-1 game was my first game of that season. I can remember their goal into the leazes end clearly.
-
Ha mine too. Our deputy head was a season ticket holder and sat a few rows behind me. A tv got set up so we could watch it on the news. Weirdly the tv was set up again a couple of weeks later when there were rumours we were about to sign Matt Le Tissier.
-
He wasn't starting every game for Chelsea at the time and the move up here was supposedly done and dusted. Abramovic came in and immediately put a blocker on all incoming and outgoing transfers.
-
Complete ambivalence is a strong negotiating position.
-
He also did it in a world cup year whilst being a regular international for a country with an outside chance of winning it.
-
He's been outstanding. I get where the comments saying he's a steady 7.5/10 every week are coming from, but I think that's selling him short. Only 26 too, so he's another one who can get even better as the squad around him improves.
-
I think this one is mine, too. I was at the game and in the toilets when he scored. Seen a replay on one of the TVs on the way back to my seat but pretended to my dad that I'd seen it properly.
-
In a short space of time he's gone from being arguably one of the weakest players in our entire squad to playing well and making an important contribution. If he can keep that improvement going there's no reason why he can't have a decent future here.

Down to a 1 only because it is theoretically not impossible. I wouldn't want to write off any of our remaining games. Loads of unexpected results happen towards the end of the season and even the Steves took a couple of points off Liverpool last season. The best thing about last night's win is no longer just wanting the current bottom three to lose so that it's over and done with as quickly as possible. I'd love the last day of the season against Burnley to end up like Austria/Germany in the 82 World Cup, with Burnley needing a point to stay up and to send Everton down and both teams passing the ball back and forwards over the half way line for 90 minutes.

Big fan of the lad suggesting that the Athletic article "shows how much the mags overpaid."

Hopefully Lampard still hasn’t figured out that he needs to play his reserve goalkeeper against us and crisp packet hands has another meltdown. Send them down. -

“What happens in the dressing room stays there but we have to do more, and in particular you have to have the ability to roll up your sleeves a bit more and show something – especially when you go a goal behind,” Bruce indicated. Already rolling up wuh sleeves ? -
We didn't have a reserve team towards the end of KK's time here so I got the sense that those signings were to add a bit of depth and experience to the squad. Players who had experience winning things, which most/all of our squad didn't. After Dalgleish got us up to second it felt like this was supposed to be getting us ready for another title challenge. That and probably a bit of giving a few of his pals a final pay day. I don't think any of them were supposed to play as much as they did, mind. Pearce was steady, Barnes ended up our top scorer and Rush was abysmal.

10 points in 4 games with him in the team. He’s doing his bit.
-
Down from 4 to a 3. We look like a completely different team. It’s great watching us and having a bit of confidence.
-
More than doubled our points total in the last five games. Down from a 6 in December to a 3.
